My New Book Is Out, And Selling

   My book, "EYES OF EMERALD" is selling better than I thought it was going to. I was told a 3-4 minute story by my dad three times over the years. Always telling him, "this should be a book or a movie." Not being a writer, I wrote it with a partner that is my best friend's son, he isn't a writer either.
   
   We embellished the story, threw in some history and voila! A book was born. The genre is ROMANTIC TRAGEDY, the story is about a cousin of mine from NYC in the 1930's. She was the first of her family to be born in the USA, graduate from high school and fall for someone of a different culture.
   
   What happened to this woman can only be described as AMAZING. The success of the book so far has been driven by Hubbers and another site that is very international. I have received promises from people in over 30 countries that they will purchase it. My heart beats faster from each comment I receive, and tears have been shed over many of the comments.
   
   I thank everyone, even those that didn't buy it. If you commented on any of my Hubs, you have helped me. Harvey

      Well done. Absolutely brilliant news.I seem to remember you wrote it in partnership with another writer - an even bigger challenge for most writers. You probably had great fun bouncing ideas off each other. Get writing the sequel. Wishing you every success for the future.

      Petra, I hope you are right. I wish to honor my father, and raise money for charity with the book. I'll tell you a much greater feeling. I was a singer when younger. When a very large crowd gives you a staning ovation, and girl's throw themseles at you.... Well I think that said it all. H

      KCC, Thanks! I am thrilled, but I look at this as a beginning. When things alm down I have another book in the waiting and ten movies.
      
      I know my father is smiling down on me, as is my mother. It will be more exciting when I find out how much the MS Society received. H

    What I'd really like to know is how you got it published. Did you find an agent and publisher, or did you self-publish. I have a few novel manuscripts I've sent out to agents and am wondering if self-publishing might be a viable route.
