Why do different countries use different voltages of electricity?
I am afraid I don't know the answer to that but just to say that in Brazil they use different voltages in the same country. 110 in the South and 220 in the North.
So confusing, why isn't there a universal voltage, in Australia we use 240V (does that mean we use up the most energy?)
