I don't have much ideas for children, but growing radishes could be a very fun and rewarding experience. Guide them through the process of setting up the soil, planting the seeds, and watering. If all goes well, they'll be able to pull the radishes from the ground in 20 days! Radishes are fast growing crops make for a blast. Have fun and good luck.

Everything from planting the seed and watering to watching it grow. A good plant for children to grow is beans, then they can help pick them. A sunflower is another good plant for children as they can also keep a chart for measurements. Getting children involved in gardening is a great idea, it teaches them about nature and if you grow vegetables it teaches them where certain foods come from. It teaches them to also care and look after something, because if they don't water it it will die. It teaches then to nurture and to be responsible for something.
