Take a new piece of wallpaper and put over damaged area. Match the pattern if it applies. Now take a razor and cut through both the new piece and the damaged area. Remove the new paper, moisten and remove damaged piece. Apply glue to new piece and put in place, like a puzzle piece in the damaged paper void. Should be a perfect match.
