Do you use your deck or patio a lot when the weather is nice?
In Arizona, most months the deck or patio is used often enough to be considered almost another room for entertaining, relaxing, or just a change of pace.
Deck or patio is used in India as a show of wealth there is no daily activity there only strangers are allowed to sit or wait here. Some times we may eat at night as no birds will come but snakes may come. There fore all we do is keep 2 chairs for any strangers. If you come you will not sit here of-course.
I love our patio--we sit outside in the evenings and eat there most summer evenings. I also sit outside in the morning to drink coffee, and sometimes practice yoga there. It's on the upper level, off the kitchen, and has an expansive view of the river and valley. It's a wonderful spot, one of my favourite parts of the whole house.
Sadly, No. Dont have time to stay at the deck and patio. Been bz with work and kids lately.
yea A LOT. My father in particular loves having coffee or tea every evening in open spaces whether its a deck, patio or a plain grass lawn. Once we even built a transparent umbrella using transparent plastic sheets because we wanted to have a cup of coffee while watching the rain falling above us. Its one of my fondest memories. My family cannot live without a lawn.
Yes, a lot, especially at the weekends. I find it very relaxing and romantic, if candles are added.
I come from N.Ireland so the weather is never too good but any chance I get I am out on the patio having a BBQ with family and friends, I even bought a fire pit so we could stay out longer.
Definitely - On nice evenings I take a book and relax. It's so nice to get out of the house and it is almost like another room for the house.
yes i love our deck, especially for bbq's and gatherings
