I'm just seeing this. It popped up on the side as I was beginning a new article.

Thank you for sharing this Brenda!

    Great write Alyssa.

I love Coleus and surpringly they usually come back a second year.

I love the idea of bringing them inside the house.

    Easy instructions and great pictures.

Oh...by the way...for some reason I do not see your name or copyright symbol at the bottom of this article.

I didn't see them either. In fact it ended so abruptly that I scrolled to the bottom of the page through ads and other story lines to try to find it. It looked like HP may have inadvertently cut it off.

But to get back to your article, coleus are some of my favorite houseplants. Most of the people I know who grow them, and myself, grow them in pots because they are annuals in Arkansas. I've had them to live for several years by growing them in pots and bringing them inside in winter. I have a packet of seeds that I bought in late spring and just haven't got around to planting. Your article gives me the incentive to get busy. Very informative. Thank you, Alyssa! And thank you, Brenda, for alerting us to this article.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Coleus is such a beautiful plant, and I couldn't bear to keep it outside. I always want the plants inside with me. haha!

Brenda, I didn't realize they would come back again here in Ohio. You are more south than me, but maybe I could get that to work here in the central area. Thank you for letting me know!

Doris, I bet your potted Coleus are stunning! I hope you plant your seeds and have even more gorgeous plants for your pots.
