How much is life worth?
How much money is acceptable compensation for 1 year of your life?
Hypothetically speaking, "I would trade one year of my life for $____________" ...
(fill in the blank)
If I live to be of old age, one year won' make a difference. 50 million would be nice.
Sheesh LindaSmith1! Break the bank.. Life is good!!
one year of my life for $1,000,000.00 would be cool. i gave up more then a year of my life a few times for free so a million would be really worth it.
Haha! Haven't we all nightwork4.. Big bucks.. You've got the right idea!!
I guess that depends on what year your trading. Is it one year off of the end of your life, or one year starting now? What would they want of that year? Would I be enslaved to their bidding for that year or would they trade lives with me for that year? I would have to have all kinds of answers to major questions like this before I could decide what the value of that year could be worth. The value may not just cover my own position, but the position it puts my family in for that year. I simply can not think of a simple value in dollar amounts for one year of my life.
Very thorough Mary Merriment! Let's say the year disappears from your cumulative life span with no other penalties associated. Instead of living to 100, you would have 99 birthdays. You wouldn't miss it and could make up for it with less sleep etc..
Well, with the opportunity to sell a year at the end of my life, I'd have to say it would be nice to leave my family debt free and have the ability to live more comfortably. So, I'd have to say 1million would be super.

Pollock currently has the title for the most expensive painting ever sold. Art is worth what the buyer is willing to pay. I personally like pollock's work, would I buy one of his pieces? The answer to that is yes.Would I pay $140 million?I'll never have that kind of money, but if money was no...

Does having more roles in your life worth the effort?I know we women have several roles in life when taking care of our families and working. But what if...it clashes with your occupation but you still want to do it?
