Do you spend less this Christmas?

If not, why? If yes, why?

Surely the question should be 'WILL' you spend less this Christmas.

The answer is yes. Since now there is just the two of us and we have plans to try and attain, spending lots of money on things that we can either do without or wait for - in other words, put behind our plans in terms of priority - seems rather wasteful.

That doesn't mean we won't be doing anything, we may just be a little more circumspect than hitherto.

Every year I try to spend less money for christmas, and every year I fail. So yes, I will spend less this year.
But deep inside I know that I will fail this time too.

However I think it´s good to have the intention to not spend that much money, that´s probably what holds me back a little.

I think one can have a nice christmas without buying lots of gifts, the important thing about cristmas is family and friends.
And all of us who have someone to celebrate christmas together with should feel lucky.
Think about all the lonely people, for them spending money around christmas is not on top of the list.

Oops! I might have drifted of a bit.

I will spend less on me and buying gifts for my friends and relatives but will spend more in spending on those who need food and other aids. I want to help the needy ones on this Christmas.

We have cut back on Christmas gifts this year because some family members don't have as much to spend as last year. I don't mind this at all because we just have to be a bit more creative in what we get for each other.
