How much money does a person have to possess to be considered rich today?
Becoming rich today may be a very difficult task for many people, does anyone know how much is the bear minimum amount of money in American dollars, does a person need to have to be considered a rich person today.
A million isn't considered very much anymore. Who you want to call rich is probably in the eye of the beholder. One of my friends told me she'd feel rich if she could just go to the grocery store and buy anything she wanted without worrying about the money.
My parents have made about £500,000 in their lifetime (including a house) and people call us rich, or more-so "posh" - although I don't believe I'm "rich" nor do my brothers.
I think it's just who has more than ourselves is rich. To me, I see people that can afford million pound houses and 3 cars rich. To people living in poverty, they see people who can afford vast amounts of food, or good clothes, to be rich. I guess it's in the eye of the beholder.
To Forbes it's anyone over a billion.
