Do/would you ever bid up your own online auctions?
I personally don't. However, I know that some people do. Strategic? Stupid? Morally wrong? What's your take?
It's illegal. I know that much - if you bid on your own item, I believe some websites have an IP tracker and you can get took off the database. (Remember, IP's are for the internet connection, not the user or computer)
No, that is strictly forbidden and a huge form of cheating. Yes, morally wrong.
Nope, Never would and never have. Partially because it would mean I would get banned (I quess its pretty easy to implement a features thats see's if your bidding on your own auctions). and partially because of the imorality of it, I wouldn't want it to be done to me, so why inflict it on others?
