PRESIDENTIAL POWERS CURBED UNDER THE CONSTITUTION-PART 3

Updated on August 25, 2010

FORWARD

My fellow Americans in my previous hub I elucidated on the nature of the democratic republic in which we live. I gave specifics on The Constitution and in particular Article II, Section 2. This hub will endeavor to give us hope in our cause to keep our republic. The United States of America was founded on The Constitution and it is not a suicide pact. I will continue on the Executive branch of our government, but I will show a way to curb the mighty power of the Executive branch!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to examine further checks as they relate to the executive branch today. One of the further enumerated powers is also shown in the previously examined article, Article II, Section 4. Under this those powers would be mightily curbed in the meantime. I’ll give you a moment to let that information sink in.

ARTICLE II SECTION 2 and 4

I ask that you read and digest the information shown both above and below paying attention to the items highlighted:

Article. II. - The Executive Branch

Section 2 - Civilian Power over Military, Cabinet, Pardon Power, Appointments

The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any subject relating to the Duties of their respective

Offices, and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offences against The United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

Section. 4. The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Do you understand the information highlighted above? Do you know the ramifications and implications of this curb on power of the Executive branch? So take heart BECAUSE these powers can be checked by the Legislative Branch. Please read it again and try to concentrate on the information.

I think all of you are able to comprehend the possible ramifications of this powerful curb to the unfettered power of a president with evil intentions. The results could be wonderful. President Obama has obviously participated in bribes. He may even be guilty of treason. This would have to be proven but even if it’s not, his power would be mightily curbed in the meantime. I’ll give you a moment to let that information sink in.

Now turn your attention back to present days. Think of the various actions and pronouncements of President Obama that show distain for both the American people and The Constitution AND show his propensity for breaking these laws. This man makes A habit of going against the “Will of the American People” and IS GUILTY OF bribery along with dereliction of duty. I will further enumerate examples of such behavior below with highlights:

1. Think of the bribe from the White house to pave the way for Senator Spector’s re-election. He had a contender in his bids for the Democrat primary.

2. Think of the bribes in the Health Care legislation.

3. Think of the possible acts of treason he has committed in not performing his duties under the Constitution BY not giving us protection!!!!

4. The “War on Terror is an “overseas contingency”. There are no Islamic terrorist they are poor misunderstood lost children... given American rights and tried in civilian courts not military commissions... where they clearly belong. Think of his background of being Muslim-born and his conversion to Christianity... in a church where he worshiped for over twenty years and claimed he never heard the hate speech against America even though he wrote it in his book prior to campaigning for president.

Do you understand the information highlighted above? Do you know the ramifications and implications of this power of the Legislative branch and the House of Representatives in particular? Ponder this and then proceed to the pertinent part of the Constitution below (Pay attention to highlighted parts).

ARTICLE I SECTION 1 and 2

ELECTIONS MATTER

Do you understand the information highlighted above? Do you know the ramifications and implications of this power of the Legislative branch and the House of Representatives in particular? This is one of those years in which elections will be held and elections matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK folks it’s time to charge forward and take our country back!!!!!!!! What’s stopping you, it’s up to each and every citizen of The United States of America to voice his choice at the ballot box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
