What's your view of healthy and meaningful living? Who are for and who are against this principle?

I believe if we practise the principle of leading a healthy and meaningful life wholeheartedly, we can change ours into a far better world. But then we have to oppose the institution of marriage and family, Prez Obama's approving attitude towards same-sex marriages, the Indian Prez's holy thread, the institution of private property, and capitalism because such things are in direct contradiction to the principle at issue. Do you fall in with my views? I invite arguments for and against them.

I believe life is a (personal) journey.
Happiness comes from living life on (your) terms as long as you aren't infringing on another person's freedom or how they want to live their life.
In the U.S. we subscribe to the notion of (separation of church and state). Our constitution is designed to uphold the civil rights of (all) of its citizens regardless of age, race, gender, or sexual orientation.
It is not against the law to be in love and gay or lesbian in America. Constitutionally it becomes very difficult to justify telling a couple who are (legally) consenting adults "in love" that (they) cannot ever get married.
Being a heterosexual man married to a woman it has no effect on my life if a man chooses to marry another man or a woman chooses to marry another woman. The president along with the growing majority of people in today’s society have evolved to the position of seeing "marriage equality" as being the difference between (equality) and (discrimination).
People who are unhappy in (their) lives tend to look (outside) and blame others or the world for their unhappiness. They are angry and frustrated over things they have no control over. They're not content with just staying in their “own lane” and running their own lives.
There has NEVER been a time in history where (everyone) was HAPPY and there never will be.
Our outlook on society is (our) perception. Right now there is someone getting ready to get married, or have a baby, or lying on a white sandy beach in Tahiti while sipping on a tropical drink watching the blue green sea rush upon the shores through their sunglasses and listening to music on their iPod. And as you might well imagine, they're VERY happy with life on earth!
    One man's opinion! :-)

Your argument that whatever doesn't affect 'my life' is OK,or that as 'they're VERY happy with life',it's OK might be used to justify the rape of a girl that isn't a friend nor a relation of yours, theft, women trafficking, drug peddling, etc, etc,OK?

Prakash RnP. Your argument that a woman being (raped) is on par with two legally (consenting) adults deciding to get married is ridiculous! I support having a police force and a legal system to punish (criminal) behavior.

Hi dashingscorpio, I didn't mean rape was 'on par with' marriage. I think you miss the point that whatever adults consensually do may not be healthy or meaningful. Do you claim things like addiction to drink or gambling are sensible?

I can't see how leading a healthy and meaningful life would conflict with marriage and family, same sex marriage, or private property.  If I were independently wealthy and owned my own mansion, it would make it easier for me to give to the poor.  If everyone achieved that state, there would be no poor people.  I don't see how being gay or having a family would get in the way of that.

Marriage is a senseless and useless institution; feminine freedom is incompatible with it, and men don't have marital eligibility. Same-sex marriages are useless and senseless things. Private property is the basis of pauperism of the multitude.
