Why is America society outraged to the point of extreme prejudice against children & people who
are transgender?
I don't think that all of American society is outraged, or prejudiced against transgender people. I think that we do have a tendency to fear those who are "other", and that transgender people are at the beginning of the long journey to acceptance.
We've seen this cycle repeat itself, over and over again. The stereotypical American norm is to be white, Christian, and straight. There was a time that if you were not all of those things, you were "other". You were to be feared, or you were suspicious, simply for not being able to tick all the right boxes.
Now, there are more boxes that are accepted as "us" rather than "other". We're all used to having neighbors who are of different races, and different religions. Maybe some of us are also used to having neighbors who aren't straight. But how many of us, right now, have neighbors who are transgender? Or even know someone who is transgender? Probably not many.
As was the case with gays and lesbians, who spent decades in the closet before being accepted enough to come out, and who now often come out as soon as their sexuality becomes clear to them, in junior high or high school, transgender people will eventually be accepted. It's just going to take time, and more brave souls to proclaim themselves, before we get to the point where they are not "other", and are just Bob next door.
I have been interested in human behavior since I was 15 years old. I think a lot of people carry rage for one reason or another and they are looking for a place to vent that rage. That rage was once racial on a much higher level than today. Racial wars existed in the 1970's. Homosexual people were also targeted, beaten, and killed. Being heterosexual myself it's very difficult for me to understand or comprehend homosexuality when I, myself don't have such drives.
I suspect the rage enters the equation if the person is self centered, self serving, and controlling, there is no tolerance for people who are not him (or her), therefore, the person who is different must be attacked and abused and maybe even killed. I see this type of thought process when people make comments about bombing entire countries to wipe them off the map only because you don't like the color of their skin, the clothes they wear, or their religion.
Speaking of religion, one of the driving points for anti-gay movements is that it's very clear in the Christian Bible that this Christian God forbids male homosexuality in both the Old Testament and the New Testament along with forbidding them entrance into heaven. Some people think they are justified under the Old Testament God, who was blood thirsty and a God of war, to slaughter his enemies... yet, the New Testament brings in a new era, he who is without sin throw the first stone sort of thing. If you actually believe in the Christian God, and you truly believe homosexuals are "sinners", then you are not supposed to torment "sinners", you are supposed to love them, let God judge, not you. Therefore, if you are using Christianity or the Christian God as an excuse to torment people, then you are in the wrong. More wars are fought over religious belief systems than for any other reason. If religion only generates more hate and disrespect and killing of other humans, then perhaps it's the religions that must go. Redirect your rage, you only make life on earth more miserable for everybody. We are all here only once, you don't need God in order for you to love and care for others, just be nice to people, let them live.

It deeply saddens me to witness Joe Biden's recent proclamation, which I perceive as a blatant disregard for the sanctity of Easter Sunday. By choosing to declare Trans Visibility Day on this holiest of days for Christians, Biden has, in my opinion, committed an act that can only be described as...

What makes so many people alarmed over the issue of transgenderism and transgenderpeople? What makes many people view transgenderism as an "aberration" instead of accepting the fact that there are people who are uncomfortable in their original gender bodies and they want to be the gender...

Very rarely do I see a forum thread on Islam. I have not seen an atheist who has started a thread on Islam insulting Mohammed or Allah or just speaking out against them. Christianity and Jesus seem to be the target. I know it is because the US, for example, is considered a...

According to this one guy I follow on youtube, it's been reported that supposedly a mom wants her six year old son to undergo the process of transitioning into a girl, even though the boy does NOT want to dress like a girl. The father has disputed this against the mother, but he is being...
