   How many allies will America lose if Trump becomes president and why do they dislike him?
   
   The dislike of Donald Trump is intense in the UK. So much so that a massive petition forced Parliament to vote on barring him entry to the country. Neuroscientist, Howard Gardner, says Trump is a text book narcissist and that he would be a dangerous world leader. The world's most popular newspaper - The Guardian - has run stories on why sane people are terrified of him. Der Spiegel, Germany's illustrious publication says Donald Trump is the world's most dangerous man. A senior Australian minister has called him terrifying and weird. They all fear he will cause WWIII. What say you?

   Most of the criticism of Donald Trump is from those people who just want to maintain status qua. Not realising that in case you keep sitting on the fence, you are likely to fall off. Someone like Trump is needed to collar the Islamic dream of a caliphate. Mind you the very people having a dread of Trump will be devoured by a resurgent Islam. They won't know what happened. Please be assured Trump has many supporters around the world, like nations already facing an islamic attack

      No, most of the criticism of Trump is coming from sane people. I agree that ISIS is an issue, but ISIS is the result of American imperialism and greed. That's what's got to be stopped.

   Trump admires Putin and Kim Jong Un. Philippines, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, MEXICO for sure, South Korea, United Kingdom etc. Israel will probably stay because they need the money and Canada will most likely pull out the moment there is talks of war. Look, the man would run the country into the ground. With no allies, you are alone and helpless. Let's forget about WWIII. Let's talk about the imminent civil war that will erupt within the US. Look how the protestors are treated for voicing disagreements. I am afraid that it will become like that on the streets and in schools. He can try and "fix" the country but he will be too busy defending it. The world, and half the population in the US think badly of him, I don't understand how anyone can support him. His inexperience and careless demeanor is dangerous.

      I would go along with most of what you have said. I think that minorities in the USA will begin to lose their rights. However, I also think he could drag the world into war. All that needs to happen is his ego is hurt, and then he will go nuclear....

   Tess....Very interesting question.  How wonderful it may be if speculation became real results. I admit it's nearly impossible to surmise what may or may not happen once this is over and we have our POTUS. WHO will that person be?  With the massive surge now of so many attempting to derail Trump, questions & concerns have soared.  The current mad dash to accomplish this has everyone acting & reacting in ways even they themselves never thought rational. 
   
   Long before his bid for the White House, I have never been fond of Trump.  Instead I saw him for the man he has clearly exposed himself to be to the American public.  I do have serious doubt he can reach the finish line a winner but only the remaining months will tell. 
   
   What concerns me much more, as it does a vast majority is if it is Cruz who is up against Hillary, can he beat her?  More speculation arises.

      All the polls have consistently shown that Clinton loses against everyone except Trump (Bernie wins them all), but the Clinton Trump election might leave Trump as POTUS.

      Paula, every GOP candidate can beat Hillary. The only one that possibly can't beat Hillary is Trump, and then it's touch and go. Bernie can beat every single GOP candidate.

      There is a part of me that hopes The Donald gets the nomination - just because I think that will make the Democrats a shoe-in for President. Its almost like he is TRYING to help the Democrats - its so weird. I certainly believe he's a narcissist.

   From everything I have read and continue to read, the world and many in the United States are frightened at the prospects of Donald Trump as president.
   
   I would venture to guess that many of our current allies will be at odds with Trump and his skewed, views of other countries and their people. Of course, under Trump we most likely would solidify our relationship with Putin and Russia because "The Donald" thinks Putin is marvelous.
   
   If anyone takes the time to research the definition and numerous articles on fascism and what a fascist stands for, then it will be obvious to the most casual observer,  Donald Trump is, in fact, a card-carrying fascist.

   I am not a fan of Donald Trump, and neither I have anything in particular against him. However, being a Canadian I've got a few questions for my American neighbors.
   How much power have you given to your presidents? I mean, if he could hypothetically start a global war, then don't you think you gave him a power of a dictator?
   
   Suppose it's not Trump, but any other individual who started as a "normal" person and then "snapped"  -  either under pressures or a mental illness. If he's got his finger on nukes, and no one else has a say in that matter, then something is VERY wrong down south.
   
   As far as I care, you can hate Trump all you want, but here I am asking some logical and legit questions. In an interview with Trump I saw him actually being "politely reminded" that some radical steps in his agenda may not be approved by congress or senate or public. He answered that he was fully aware of that and ready to cooperate.
   
   You know from experience that presidential candidates will promise you ANYTHING to get your vote. Any single one will lie to you, so why put magnifying glass only on Trump's lies? What, other than his hair makes his lies worse than those of other candidates?
   
   Since I find that first question somehow most significant, let me paraphrase it. If it's impossible under your Constitution that a president acts like a dictator  -  then why all this "trumpophobia" and alarmism? Who really cares if the guy is  expressing his ambitions OPENLY, making himself look like a megalomaniac  -  as opposed to every other candidate who is EQUALLY power-hungry, just playing a nice guy?
   
   I would really like someone who knows something about president's limits in power to give me an idea of why Trump looks so "dangerous" if any bigger decision has to be approved..

      Tessa -  I believe there are such "assessments", but who is pushing them? How did a "mentally sick" person create a hotel empire? And, if he has an oversized ego, how is that worse than electing (TWICE!!!) an alcoholic? Is intoxicated "harmless"?

   We would lose the cooperation of some of our allies if Trump won.  Narcissist?  Yeah, as far as I can tell he is.  However, I would argue, and in fact do argue, that to become leader of a country like the US or just about any nation, that person HAS to be at least somewhat narcissistic with a massive ego.  How dangerous is Trump?  I hope we don't have to find out.

   It has been said during Drumpf's roast that "Trump's ego is so big that when he makes love to a beautiful woman, he closes his eyes and imagines he's jerking himself off."
   
   The psychologically abnormal egomanical Drumpf with his ungoverned impulses used to considered in a positive light when doing a reality show but as far as being presidential, this narcissistic personality is politically dangerous, it would be a reverse Midas touch.

   I believe - that if a Republican brokered convention pushes him out that he may very well be very close to a psychotic break for being rejected. Perhaps all these votes are protest votes and think he is running for President as a Joke.    Has anyone seen this? It twirls around the Twitterverse every once in a while; but it does not even SORT of phase his followers. The scary thing is that while Trump may be dangerous; many of those whom he has managed to stir up are just SO MAD at the current pres (for whatever reason - just name one) to 'not be able to think straight'.
   
   All they want is this country to go back to the place where THEY (somehow) feel safe again. But, I'm sorry, the words 'feel safe' do not make me think of Trump. He's a wolf in sheeps clothing - OR he has a secondary agenda. Maybe he just couldn't think of how to spend a pile of money that was burning a hole in his pocket, LoL!
   
   I think IF Trump becomes President; we might be seeing a lot of awkward moments all the way around throughout his reign - and SHAME ON US ALL if that is what this country comes to.
   
   Sure, we can blame hot-headed Republicans because they can never admit when they're wrong and REFUSE to see things outside of their 'word of god' - but they are vulnerable because of these ridiculous delusions. They are like a bunch of brilliant children who just can't think for themselves outside of their rigid (and varying!) belief structures.
   
   But, Democrats and Independents would also be a fault - because we almost HAVE to force things like 'reason' and 'logic' onto them. Kids don't respond well to that kind of brain beating.
   
   We need to figure out how to find the 'average'... by removing extremist views from ALL of our candidates instead of encouraging them. There has GOT to be middle ground, somewhere.

       Which war was that? America has lost every single war it has entered into since WWII, except the first Gulf War. It has left vast problems behind. It didn't win WWII. It helped a little bit towards the end of the war. The British Empire won it.

    Obama has alienated many of our allies by taking out dictators regardless of the fact that they were bad to control the worse people who became ISIS, Al Shabab, Boko Haram.
    And he's sided with Turkey over the EU, Muslim nations killing Jews over Israel, Pakistan over India - in the name of protecting the perceived underdog, he's chosen sides against our allies, alienating some of our staunchest allies.
