Do you think N. Korea will attack the United States

No. They don't currently have the ability to launch missiles that can reach the US, nor could they move troops toward the US without notice.

Kim is a nut case, but he's not stupid. We're reasonably safe from attack while they continue to develop weapons systems that can reach the US.

But they can attack our bases in South Korea, Japan and Hawaii. That's all it would take to start a war. And they do have planes. It doesn't have to be a nuclear attack.

Those bases have been there since the Korean War. Why now? Kim can't win a war where he makes the first strike. We have the ability to detect their planes, and knock them out, and then launch a counter attack. Kim won't attack until he can win.

We'd lose so much if we counter-attacked.  Who would we turn to for comic relief?

Seriously, Congress, when was the last time any US congress did something worthwhile.

What might happen is a conflict in Asia with China involved in the imbroglio too...

Some day yes, but maybe only in his dreams.

I will offer this though, after watching their leader make his claims so often, and making notes of how he keeps on trying no matter what, I'd say it may be time to add another verse to that old "ant moving a rubber tree plant" song.

    High Hopes!

Search Engines are your friend, it turns that Frank Sinatra and Doris Day versions of that old song are on YouTube.

And by the way, today (April 15, 2017) he tried again.  The news makes it sound like maybe they dropped the missile rather than launching it.

You never know, the North Koreans worship Kim Jon -un as a god and he appears to be a few cards short. He may be less rational than the Soviets we're in the cold war and therefore more dangerous.

North Korea is getting bolder in their provocations and that's dangerous when our military bases are so close to them along with South Korea itself. I think it would at least behoove us to take seriously his threats even though his country would be bombed into the stone age if the made good on his threats.
