      Your preaching to the choir, UI, how the GOP and political right tolerate Bachman as part of their chorus is beyond me. She is a lying strumpet. I am a democrat and I have always respected Mc Cain as being a true American hero in war or peace. He is not afraid to call anyone out even on his side if he or she is out of line, relative to that Romney is saffron yellow.
      The ovnly thing I don't like about him is what I consider his idea of an overzealous militaristic foreign policy.

         I pretty much agree with this. I've always had a lot of respect for McCain, and I was an ardent supporter in 2008. His "hawkishness" did concern me, however. As for personal convictions and the fortitude to express them, though, Romney pales in comparison to JM.

   I'm a democrat, and I've always like McCain... I think he is probably a good person. I'm glad he stood up for what he believes and what is right for the USA.

   This sounds exactly like when McCain stood up against the inflammatory Tea Partiers attracted to his campaign by Sarah Palin. The subject of their hate at the time was Barack Obama.
   He comes across as reasonable, rational and honorable.
   Something that has been missing of late in Congress (or at least the Congress that gets media coverage).
