Has The World Gone Mad?

    With the recent mass shootings in Aurora, Colorado and continuous wars and acts of violence in America and around the world, when will humankind realize that violence is never the solution and/or the answer to anything.   In fact, violence only exacerbates the situation at hand.    Will violence always be among us or if humankind will evolve to the point where intelligent reasoning will take precedence over solving problems with violence?

      Good question...it is tragic, frightening and disheartening.  It appears that there are more and more sick people in the world-CRAZY!  It appears that this 'problem' seems to be getting worse...Man is a sick animal.   sad

        Yes, it seems that each time we evolve two steps as a species, someone commits an egregious act which regresses humankind four steps back.   Sad really to ponder the state of humankind.  When will it EVER end!

      If you count up the areas where America is directly the participant in violence, the instigator of violence or funding violence then the answer is clear, cut the US military budget, and the funding for the CIA troublemaking  by 90% and all will get better.

    We are leading healthier and longer lives.Less people are dying due to diseases and war.One act should not not upset this perspective.If people did indeed study history then they would know things are improving all the time.I'm a bit tired of this chicken little approach to life that some people seem to espouse.Look at my home country;Australia.Half a dozen people out of 22 million have been killed by sharks this year and now the media are telling us about a Great White Shark epidemic.Some people!!!
