Now I thought this wasn't an issue across the pond?
Can you imagine the furor if a Conservative administration here tried this??
I'm kind of surprised that a super patriot like you reads Russia Today.
now I'm surprised that the Drudge Report would link to Commie TV

Why would you think that the EU does not have a problem with illegal immigrants? You can see Africa from the southern tip of Spain and mainland Europe is connected to Asia. There is a huge problem of unfortunate souls drowning trying to get to Europe on decrepit vessels, people being smuggled in in lorries and we have even had incidents of people being found clinging to the under carriages of passenger jets when they have landed at Heathrow.
When people are desperate, they will do anything to get to what they perceive to be a better place, even if they could die in the process.

As is typical, your nationalistic tunnel visions leads you to believe that no other countries are concerned about immigration.
If you read your own link (oh, I mean, Drudge's link), you will find that there is indeed widespread concern, a "furor" even, about the use of drones by the EU.
