I thought this was interesting, especially coming from a pretty liberal site.

Well, the major media outlets have to prioritize you know. There's only so much time between Romney stories to go around.

Give them some time, say somewhere after November, then I'm sure they will be able to devote some fact-checkers to this story.

That would be funny if it weren't so sad...and scary.

This story on Rachel Maddow last night led me to same conclusion as yours.
Why is THIS story not being discussed?
I thought about starting a thread on people's feelings about what to do next in Afghanistan. May still do.
Meanwhile, not all the lefties are giving Obama a full pass!

I've seen Rachel criticize the POTUS before. I like her, even though I rarely agree with her. She's smart and funny, and she never gets really "nasty."

She was on quite a tear about the surge last night.
I like her for the same reasons. I value smartness over baseness.

I like Rachel for the same reasons, AND I trust her commentary also.  When she goes into a long dialogue about an issue, and if she has someone coming on to talk about the issue after her, she always ask the person "did I get it right?"  The answer is always affirmative.
I always felt that Americans were not safe in embassies in certain parts of the world ever since the kidnapping happened in Iran in the 1970s.  Don't understand why more security was not given to them.
