If O will release his college and passport records, Trump will donate $5 mil to Obama's favorite charity. I honestly don't think the POTUS has anything to hide there, so why not take the Donald up on his offer?

Habee, Trump is absurd. Who does he think he is to get familiar with the President of the United States in such a way. NBC must have dumped that stupid show of his and he is still licking the wounds+

      Trump is an OPEN birther.

Why can't Trump just donate 5 million because it would help people?

Not that I really care to defend Trump, but I'm guessing he has already donated to charity much more than you will ever earn in your lifetime.

What is it with right-wingers refusing to actually engage with points I make?  It's an odd strategy to always change the subject....

I'm sorry I don't live off the labor of others to enrich myself for a living tongue.

A simple response is: Yes, Trump should donate, as should anyone who has considerable wealth, which would include Romney, Biden, Obama, and Ryan.

I think this is interesting. I can't wait to hear the results. It's kind of a 'damned if you do, and damned if you don't' situation. If Obama says no, he's selfish and heartless. If Obama says yes, then he takes it in the ass from America's rich and does as he is told. Hmm. I think Trump knows that; he's a very good 'negotiator.' Most rich people are.

Trump can't ask Harvard if Obama studied there? Harvard would have denied long ago if Obama had been lying. This is a publicity stunt for the gullible.

Colleges and universities are legally bound not to release records unless signed by the person to whom those records belong. If he did not attend there, they would have to release enrollment records to prove it, from the years in question. There are other students who may not wish to release those records.

Great! So now I can say that I graduated from Harvard and no one will know if I'm lying. But I think you should double check that, KathleenKat. We had a senator in the Philippines who bragged about going to Harvard. It was discovered she exaggerated, it wasn't a Harvard degree, but one of these little courses you take like for one month. So I think there might be a way to check on stuff like this and Donald Trump certainly has the wherewithal to gather his own evidence, if he really wanted to.

              1. kathleenkat profile image83
kathleenkatposted 11 years agoin reply to this

Don't be absurd. Background checks can pull up where you attend, what level of degree you have, and whether you graduated...but NOT your transcripts and grades, or what your specifically majored in. Bet your politician, who by the way wasn't lying when she said she attended Harvard, was found to have a certificate or diploma associated with that course, from Harvard, but not a degree. Big difference; Trump is asking for a transcript.

That proves all the more the insincerity of Trump's request. All you need is evidence that Obama attended Harvard. He is a narcissistic publicity seeker, betcha.

If Donald Trump opens up and gives his true hair color and if he gives his reasons for being a complete idiot for being a "birther", I will give to a charity of his choice—inner-city children in New York City, American Cancer Society, AIDS research, anything he wants—a check immediately for $5 million dollars!

Once again, I need to remind you that proof of alumnus=/=transcripts. Transcripts contain grades and major/minor course(s) of study. That is what Trump is looking for: Release of transcripts.

Who cares what Trump is or why he is doing this? That is irrelevant. Anyone could be asking this. Trump just has the money and connections to be able to do it in the public eye. The reason why this is such an important issue to some people is because Obama's campaign gave flack to Romney for not releasing all of his records to the public; other presidents have released all of their records to the public. But we're not talking about Romney here, we're talking about Obama. Why can't he pay the ~$10 fee to send his transcript? The refusal makes people think he is hiding something (similar to the thoughts surrounding Romney and his tax records).

I'm not defending his actions, I'm just trying to help you understand the difference between an alumnus list and someone's transcripts.

Personally, I think it's funny. And I could care less about Obama's grades. I am only interested to see what happens.

What's the point, he once released his birth certificate and then the nut jobs starting screaming that it was a fake. They'd only do the same with his college records. I find it quite hilarious that people who hail the military and intelligence services then in the same breath think that the intelligence services arn't able to recognise fake documents, like birth certificates for example, the hypocracy is hilarious.

He says that said balls must be in mouth no later than 5pm on October 31. His balls will be happy and all of America will be happy, because something will be going into Trumps mouth, instead of coming out of it. LOL!!

Trump is a classic ego freak.  Even after the devastating storm and the tragic conditions it has caused, Trump is still blithering about Obama.  “Because of the hurricane, I am extending my $5 million  offer for President Obama’s favorite charity until noon on Thursday.”
Why doesn't he simply double the donation and give it to Red Cross and help his city?

"“Hurricane is good luck for Obama again – he will buy the election by handing out billions of dollars. Not only giving out money, but Obama will be seen today standing in water and rain like he is a real president —don’t fall for it.”    [sic] Donald Trump

Sorry, DT, he is a real president.

David Letterman was on last night, and he says that Trump now owes Obama 5 million dollars, as he has released his college records. His Electoral College records! Some media has Obama now at over 300 electoral votes, so there is no way that Romney could pull the Bush lawsuits to defeat him. It's not going to happen, and if it does there will be a lot of very ANGRY americans to deal with.
