If O will release his college and passport records, Trump will donate $5 mil to Obama's favorite charity. I honestly don't think the POTUS has anything to hide there, so why not take the Donald up on his offer?

Habee, Trump is absurd. Who does he think he is to get familiar with the President of the United States in such a way. NBC must have dumped that stupid show of his and he is still licking the wounds+
Then maybe obama should show Trump up, release his records and give a ton of money to charity. It be a new thing for the POS he won't give any of his own money to charity!
Yea, and then we can all be proud to say we don't have a government of the many, we have a government of the money...
Trump is an OPEN birther.
Why can't Trump just donate 5 million because it would help people?
Not that I really care to defend Trump, but I'm guessing he has already donated to charity much more than you will ever earn in your lifetime.
Yes... and he always makes sure everyone knows about it.
What is it with right-wingers refusing to actually engage with points I make? It's an odd strategy to always change the subject....
I'm sorry I don't live off the labor of others to enrich myself for a living .
A simple response is: Yes, Trump should donate, as should anyone who has considerable wealth, which would include Romney, Biden, Obama, and Ryan.
Yep, I know he's a birther. I guess he's given up on the BC, and now he's going for the college and passport records. Maybe he needs a new hobby? lol
Trump is do desperate for attention, he will do anything to be on the news
Publicly extorting the president... what will Trump think of next?
It sounds like a headline on The National Enquirer.
Who's 5mil would that be I wonder?
I believe Obama (as President) should order that the Stump to give back that dead pet bird on his head to it's previous rightful owner!
I take it you don't like his coiffure? You'd think with all that money, he could do something about his hair.
Oh I'm sure he does take care of his hair..... it's his lack of caring for the bird that concerns me!
Haha I think his hair is his trademark...
I wonder if the ultra rich that once had Bush on speed dial is upset that Obama won't even give them an audience...
He steered away from the rumored announcement of Obama's divorce you'll notice. He must have been been advised to back off. This new announcement is so lame. The Donald needs to go away and mind his own business. Romney surely isn't being helped by his antics.
With Trumps tv show coming back on soon, he's doing nothing but getting publicity. He knows good or bad publicity is a good thing. My commenting on this forum shows my stupidity for even acknowledging him! Trump is all about Trump!
Agreed, but Obama should shut him up once and for all and take the $$ for charity.
First off, I think this info should be open already... Second, I think that if Obama were to accept the offer Trump makes he will set a precedent that money can buy actions from sitting presidents. I think its a disgusting offer. If Obama loses, do you think Trump would still make the offer?
@live...heck no! He wouldn't make the offer. It is a disgusting offer! Why don't he offer the same deal to Romney in fairness to release 10 years of his tax returns.
I can't imagine one rich man offering another rich man a lot of money to release his tax returns. They would have too much in common.
Obama's compliance will not shut up 'Trump. The birth certificate obviously failed. "Trump needs publicity sorely. And he is bordering on narcissism. Maybe old age is catching on him early in his years.
That would be lowering himself to Trumps level. Trump isn't worth the time of day. How he attained his fortune is another discussion. I wouldn't want to touch "HIS" money.
I think this is interesting. I can't wait to hear the results. It's kind of a 'damned if you do, and damned if you don't' situation. If Obama says no, he's selfish and heartless. If Obama says yes, then he takes it in the ass from America's rich and does as he is told. Hmm. I think Trump knows that; he's a very good 'negotiator.' Most rich people are.
Trump didn't give Obama a time limit. It could take weeks to gather the info he's requested - at least for the average person.
I think he did have a timeline. I watched the tape and Trump gave Obama until Oct 31st .
Did you not watch the video? He gave Obama a time limit of October 31st.
Trump can't ask Harvard if Obama studied there? Harvard would have denied long ago if Obama had been lying. This is a publicity stunt for the gullible.
Colleges and universities are legally bound not to release records unless signed by the person to whom those records belong. If he did not attend there, they would have to release enrollment records to prove it, from the years in question. There are other students who may not wish to release those records.
I think all those who demand to see Obama's transcripts should post their own for all to see...
I would assume that most people who don't want their transcripts as public record have little interest in anyone else's transcripts, including Obama.
Great! So now I can say that I graduated from Harvard and no one will know if I'm lying. But I think you should double check that, KathleenKat. We had a senator in the Philippines who bragged about going to Harvard. It was discovered she exaggerated, it wasn't a Harvard degree, but one of these little courses you take like for one month. So I think there might be a way to check on stuff like this and Donald Trump certainly has the wherewithal to gather his own evidence, if he really wanted to.
Don't be absurd. Background checks can pull up where you attend, what level of degree you have, and whether you graduated...but NOT your transcripts and grades, or what your specifically majored in. Bet your politician, who by the way wasn't lying when she said she attended Harvard, was found to have a certificate or diploma associated with that course, from Harvard, but not a degree. Big difference; Trump is asking for a transcript.
That proves all the more the insincerity of Trump's request. All you need is evidence that Obama attended Harvard. He is a narcissistic publicity seeker, betcha.
I have a deal for Donald Trump. If Donald Trump opens up and gives his true hair color and if he gives his reasons for being a complete idiot for being a "birther", I will give to a charity of his choice—inner-city children in New York City, American Cancer Society, AIDS research, anything he wants—a check immediately for $5 million dollars!
Trump sure has a hard-on for Obama. It's like in grade school when you have a crush on someone you and you express your feelings by stealing their lunchbox. Sorry Trump, but Michelle has better hair and a nicer butt.
I am a Harvard Graduate. I challenge anyone to disprove my claim.
Okay, proven false. Now use that to look up Obama.
Once again, I need to remind you that proof of alumnus=/=transcripts. Transcripts contain grades and major/minor course(s) of study. That is what Trump is looking for: Release of transcripts.
Who cares what Trump is or why he is doing this? That is irrelevant. Anyone could be asking this. Trump just has the money and connections to be able to do it in the public eye. The reason why this is such an important issue to some people is because Obama's campaign gave flack to Romney for not releasing all of his records to the public; other presidents have released all of their records to the public. But we're not talking about Romney here, we're talking about Obama. Why can't he pay the ~$10 fee to send his transcript? The refusal makes people think he is hiding something (similar to the thoughts surrounding Romney and his tax records).
I just can't believe you're defending this. But then, to each his own.
I'm not defending his actions, I'm just trying to help you understand the difference between an alumnus list and someone's transcripts.
Personally, I think it's funny. And I could care less about Obama's grades. I am only interested to see what happens.
I think the issue here is tax records, not educational records.

What's the point, he once released his birth certificate and then the nut jobs starting screaming that it was a fake. They'd only do the same with his college records. I find it quite hilarious that people who hail the military and intelligence services then in the same breath think that the intelligence services arn't able to recognise fake documents, like birth certificates for example, the hypocracy is hilarious.
Welcome to American politics...full of hypocrisy, and highly entertaining. I am eager to see what happens here. Like I said, he's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't.
Well, I think we have a point of agreement there. He's damned i he does, and damned if he doesn't.
Did anyone hear about the offer from Steven Colbert? He offers 1 million dollars to Trump, to go to any charity of his choice, if he will put his balls in his mouth! LOL!! He says that said balls must be in mouth no later than 5pm on October 31. His balls will be happy and all of America will be happy, because something will be going into Trumps mouth, instead of coming out of it. LOL!!
Look it up on the Colbert Report. It's a riot!
Donald chump. if hes got 5 million to donate to a worthy cause then for gods sake why doesn't he just give it? Huh! WHY! I guess if Obama doesn't take his bet he will just keep his 5 million in his pocket . Which is actually what trump was betting on . Somebody should slap him silly!
Trump is a classic ego freak. Even after the devastating storm and the tragic conditions it has caused, Trump is still blithering about Obama. “Because of the hurricane, I am extending my $5 million offer for President Obama’s favorite charity until noon on Thursday.”
Why doesn't he simply double the donation and give it to Red Cross and help his city?
"“Hurricane is good luck for Obama again – he will buy the election by handing out billions of dollars. Not only giving out money, but Obama will be seen today standing in water and rain like he is a real president —don’t fall for it.” [sic] Donald Trump
Sorry, DT, he is a real president.

Trump's problem is he knows he is less intelligent and very boring. For a narcissist, that is a sentence of death. He must be saved from himself.
David Letterman was on last night, and he says that Trump now owes Obama 5 million dollars, as he has released his college records. His Electoral College records! Some media has Obama now at over 300 electoral votes, so there is no way that Romney could pull the Bush lawsuits to defeat him. It's not going to happen, and if it does there will be a lot of very ANGRY americans to deal with.

I'm sorry, but I cannot abide this man as president. He sounds like a demented 10-year-old. How anyone can believe he is fit is beyond my comprehension. He speaks less eloquently than my elderly mother who has Alzheimer's.I've truly tried to understand the Trump supporter who...

To say that Donald Trump did all he could to impede President Biden from accomplishing the tasks America hired him to do is an understatement. He stooped so low that he fired, at 11:30 AM the chief Usher at the White House and sent most, if not all of the staff home. Consequently, there...

WHAT do you think of Donald Trump's statement that Obama founded ISIS?
by Scott Belford 6 years ago
This is really two part question. The first part is the above question. The other is a slight twist, to wit: "Is President Trump Turning Out to an Existential Threat to Ideals Which America Represents?"The reason I ask is because consequences are becoming evident from his nine...

Seriously, don't Trump supporters feel a bit betrayed when he trumps himself repeatedly withan even odious statement as time goes by? Yes being non-PC is his thing and everybody is entertained by it but at one point do supporters say, "OK - that was over the line" I do know that when most...
