    Can't wait!!
I guess they're going to run it at 8PM when it is 8PM in your time zone. Only 5:40 here.
Promo'ing it now, but we're watching the news on NBC with Brian Williams.
OMG, so heartwrenching seeing the situation on Staten Island.
Thank God FEMA and Red Cross arrived.
    Janet Napolitano in person.
A Brooklyn EMT there on his day off.
And neighbors helping neighbors with warm clothes.
As they just said, "It's not charity. It's humanity."

    New Yorkers are AMAZING!!

I made a mistake of reading a thread on Facebook about it. So many haters saying it's only a commercial for Obama. Such sad people. I don't know half of those performers political beliefs (except for Bruce of course).

New York and New Jersey boys coming together to help their home towns...

Pretty amazing stuff. Bon Jovi I believe is for Obama. Whatever or whomever they are for, there is nothing more powerful then seeing people coming together for a good cause.

I watched part of it and it was wonderful to see performers working together and forgetting their egos for a little time to help others.

The lineup does seem to be heavily Dem supporters.
Springsteen, Jon Stewart, Mary J Blige definitely.
Christina Aguilera is a Dem (supported Hill in 08).

As I went to look up Christina A I found this site of celebrities who are GOP.
So, why didn't they get any of these people out there for this Coming Together concert?

For sure Clint Eastwood is too busy. I heard he has been calling the people of Michigan telling voters it's time to fire President Obama because "he's failed us."

You can hear the robocall here Clint Eastwood Calls Michigan Voters In Anti-Obama Robocall

          Failed who?
          Not me.
          Apparently not the millionaires, either.
I guess they're pissed the tough economy held them back from cracking the billionaire ceiling.

I was reading that it came together very quickly.

Whatever, it was not a political event and politics did not enter into it at all.

Just read that Nearly $23 million was raised for the RedCross during last night's benefit telethon. Amazing things happen when people are all in together.
