      She wants an "EU" of the western hemisphere countries?  While that may happen one day, a century in the future, neither we nor the other countries of the Americas are ready for it.  She should talk to the British voters that decided to get out, and they weren't the only first world country in the union!
      
      As of now, the biggest result would be the US providing near total support for 30 other countries - 30 more "Mexico's" if you will.  We can't afford the one already depending on us to feed their excess population - what makes her think we can handle dozens more?
      
      Might work with just Canada, though...

   Trump is not for open borders. He will be a president and a force to reckon with once in office. Will the republicans who have stopped supporting Trump respect Hillbillary in the oval office? or will they override her at every turn?

   Being pro-free trade is a legitimate position.  I happen to hold that position myself and I am beyond liberal, more like socialist.  You can support free trade and being of any political leaning from communist to Tea Party.

   Sad part is , America on the whole doesn't seem to want viable candidates ,  we have devolved to tabloid elections . I have never seen anything like this and I'm 62 .

      America isn't allowed to make the choice for the candidates. The two parties decide and as we have seen especially with the Bernie/Hillary debacle favoritism is alive and well in this election. Who ultimately made the DNC decision to swing the nomination Hillary's way? The donors and that is where all of our elections are born and navigated. The open market is the dream of the banks so as to make one Central Bank. That way all of the worlds wealth can be under one world order.

            Open borders are a means to anarchy and the destruction of sovereignty that will allow a corporate overthrow of all that we know. Their only purpose is for money and power and people are a tool or obstruction to them in their conquest for one corporate power. I don't want to live in that world where we have no say or influence in the way we are governed at that point.

               Open borders means not using tariffs and fees to protect local markets, but having each place make things they have the best climate and workforce for.  The goal is for all nations to voluntarily join the free market because they will all benefit from it. The benefits come from the free movement of goods and the elimination of wasteful bureaucracy.
