      As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless act of violence perpetrated on October 1, 2017, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, October 6, 2017.  I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.

         I read that ISIS was claiming responsibility.  It usually takes at least 48 hours for the facts to really start rolling out, and we can't count on the liberal media to be spot on. (added)  They have been reporting that the shooter committed suicide.  He was killed by a FBI hostage rescue team.
         
         I saw one report that said the death toll is rising because people are in critical condition. So very said.

            ISIS claims responsibility for everything they can get away with.  They are under a lot of pressure and not the authorities in Europe and the US are getting better at catching their operatives before they can do anything. So they claim responsibility for every violent attack that makes the news, to try to make it look like they're still a force to be reckoned with.

   We had 4,000 people in Puerto Rico before the first hurricane, after it, and during the category 5 hurricane, then more started to be pored in.  Some of these men have been going from one hurricane after another for the past 42 days.  I think its time they get some much needed R&R, but they are doing what they love to do, helping our fellow citizens.

         I didn't know (now I do) that POTHUS and FLOTUS went to see first hand on the US Virgin Islands today too.  Way cool to see how happy the governor is with the wonderful response with aid and whatever is needed (the same is truth with the Gov. of PR).   The governor of Puerto Rico was there too.  I thought it was so cut when the Gov. of the Virgin Islands was talking to the Gov of PR. It was love between island neighbors. I could feel the love from everyone in the room for everyone (all of us).  Good to feel such love and unity, we need more of that.

   The State Department on Friday approved a $15 billion missile defense sale to Saudi Arabia, even as some lawmakers contest the sale over human rights concerns.
   
   The sale — part of a $110 billion defense deal with the kingdom announced in May — is for the Lockheed Martin and Raytheon-made Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system, according to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, which handles foreign military sales.
   
   Saudi Arabia has requested 44 THAAD launchers, 360 interceptor missiles, radars, batteries, trucks to move the system and other equipment.

    Conservative and liberal pundits howled: Arugula! Whole Foods! The Washington Post said "As if the mooing masses of Iowans had ever heard of such a thing or such a place!"

    First of all, it is great to see that an actual speech of the President was put here for everybody to see. Secondly, I consider the comment about the president being off the topic because people now have more serious issues to deal with. I think that is you look at this infographic about presidents you could see how the presidents reacted to the tragedies in the past and what were their decisions therefore. I consider Trump to be smart enough to start acting now. People have been tired of living in fear for long now. If you look at what happened at Charleston, you would agree that was indeed an issue of mental health for those criminals. That’s why a resolution on restriction rules to selling guns should have been issued long ago. People mustn’t constantly fear that some crazy man would show up shooting everybody because he is offended by the government in some way. I hope that the actions towards the solution of this problem will be following very soon. Let there be more restriction but safer days.

    When Obama went around the world, he bowed and apologized over and over again to foreign leaders, and lost the respect of many countries.
    
    When Trump went around the world, he gave honor, gained respect and gained over 250 Billion dollars in trade deals for OUR Country!
