Another set of rules for themselves. The latest revelation is that over the last 12 years, Congress has paid $15 million tax dollars to settle sexual harrassment suits against members of Congress and more over, these cases are secret and the offender names protected...What the hell is that?
These people needs to go, period.
As a citizen who pays taxes, this is unacceptable.
Who instituted these policies and who signed off on this?
    Who are the offenders?
They need to reimburse the US for every penny and perhaps face prosecution and be disbarred...

Yeah, its pretty normal and another good reflector/indicator of 'where we are at' as a people. Plus, it really makes you wonder how many women our beloved potus has paid off or otherwise 'silenced' to keep himself from being seriously tainted by one of their accusations throughout the decades.

Its really nice of you to get all bent out of shape over this, Jack - but its just another diversion that doesn't matter. If you rounded up every 'wrongdoer' on Capital Hill, there would be no one left to run the country. You can't remove sex (or any other offensive/bad behavior) from those high-profile offices; and fortunately for us - you can be a bad man AND still be okay (and even good at) running the country. Things like sexual misconduct will improve when we start to put people in there with well-balanced hearts & minds. (It will start to happen someday - eventually, probably long after both you and I are dead, LoL!)

Digging up all this past stuff takes our minds of off what is actually going on - and yeah, sexual misconduct has ALWAYS BEEN a huge part of that (whether the accusations are true, or not - it works, either way). Again, it is a wonderful diversion. Good job of continuing to jump through the hoops that the deep state sets up for you, Jack. smile

I am sorry you feel that way. That was the same defense of Bill Clinton in the 1990s. I am not buying it. All through the impeachment process, we heard it was about a private sex matter...
That was not the case. In all these elements of sexual abuse and harrassment, it is about abuse of power. People in power feel entitled and they are protectd by other people so these abuses continue. That is why Weinstein and others are able to get away with it for so long.
Hollywood and Washington have their abusers and enablers...unfortunately, most people are either not paying attention or staying silent to save their own ass.
We need whistleblowers now more than ever. There are a few good men left and I disagree with the assessment that all men behave this way, It is not true in my circle of friends.

I didn't say all men behaved this way... But there are 'benefits' that the deep state provides in order to keep the people who work for them in those government offices doing what they want them to do. If your weakness is sex - that's what they use. If it is greed - that's what they use to 'hold you in place' or stifle you with, etc - essentially putting them into a mental prison.

The deep state preys on the human weaknesses of our leaders - JUST like they prey on the weaknesses of 'the people', at large & en masse: then have stories written about it to spread division, fear and hate.

All these sexual allegations are nothing but offensive for most of us women - because we have been complaining about them for DECADES; and NOW you all have decided that something NEEDS to be done about it?!!

Yeah, these dust-ups are making wonderful diversions.

That kind of DEEP sexual deviation is not something that can be erradicated by just 'removing the offenders'. Our hearts and minds need to be healed before our society can be improved upon in any significant kind of way.

Interesting...so is everything a diversion to you? What about the NFL protests? The mass shootings, the truck driver incident in NYC? And BLM protests? And the Virginia statue removal? And the OWS of a few years ago...?
Nothing happens in politics by accident... house of cards.

So weird, your words here make it seem like you are agreeing with me - and yet, the tone sounds like you are disagreeing again, LoL!

No, not everything is a diversion... Some things are the 'reason for the diversions' that they want to keep our attention from. Its not like our reality is a solid thing - absolutely everything is made up of ENERGY, even our physical bodies.

Anything that makes us fight about a SPECIFIC thing that is being argued over as the result of people's manipulated & divided perceptions - yeah, such as the NFL protests, mass shootings, BLM, southern statue removals, etc... the list is long; and you've seen how endless the arguing is over any ONE of those subjects.

How many different things can be created for us to fight venomously over - in order for the wool to be pulled over our eyes? I mean really, Jack... make a list of just HOW MANY different individual topics you are irritated about. Can you put them in any order of priority? Are there so many that they are overwhelming?

Those are the things you focus on instead of the root causes of them which you can't see - cuz of wool over your eyes.

How hard do people fight over those things? A LOT harder than insisting that our politicians fix Capital Hill. For someone who is as embedded into right-wing ideals as you are, Jack - I find it interesting that you don't seem to be the least bit concerned about the deep state, when I know that many other T-fans and conservatives are very concerned about it.

The trouble is, I think most of you are convinced that 'the left' IS the deep state - while your equally-manipulated opinions have been as twisted & mangled in order to provide worthy opponents for the left to fight with.

Like I've said, stop helping them - unless you want them to continue to rule this world.

You're a Christian... What should you do, instead?

Matthew 5 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others?"

Philippians 4:6-9 "...the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

WHY should you do these two things INSTEAD of adding to the chaos?

Because 1) you're far more clueless than you realize - ALL of us are (including me); and 2) Law of Attraction - you really should look it up, Jack. Many Catholics & Christians have discovered it and are utilizing it as a productive 'life accessory' in conjunction with their faith because it does not disagree with it. In a nutshell, whatever you give your attention to will get BIGGER; because emotions are 'energy in motion'.

God created us with imagination & emotions - both of which are FAR MORE imperative to our existence than we give them credit for. They are the means by which God creates through us.

What are you creating, Jack? What are you capable of creating - or are you letting something like the deep state create through you instead of God?

Its a good question... You should ponder it instead of giving another knee-jerk reply.

I don't need quotes from the Bible. I read the bible and it contains many wisdom. In fact, that is what is wrong with most religions. They use the word of God in tortured ways.
The wisdom comes from understand the passages and the context they were given.
There are much knowledge in the bible that is still relevant today after 2000 years. How many other text has survived time and history?

I agree with you in part. Some of these distractions are designed to divide us by the power that be. However, they dod jot control everything. They cannot control us the voting public, at least now. I am not sure about the future. These hidden agenda has decimated our populace with public education that dosn't teach, social welfare programs that keep some depended for a generation, and open borders to dilute our population...
They have succeeded to destroy our republic from within to a limited extent.
We must reverse the course if we are to survive as a nation.

"They cannot control us the voting public..."

No, they don't 'control' the voting public, they manipulate & divide us as you have seen. Their goal is NOT to get any one political party into office - it doesn't matter to them who is in there. Their goal is to keep us as divided and fighting as possible so that NOTHING EVER CHANGES that they don't want changed.

I am disappointed that you insist on believing that everything I have to say is nonsense and refuse to check yourself, Jack. From now on, I will assume that your goal is to help the deep state continue its harmful regime; and correct you at every opportunity that I have time for - not for your sake, but for others who may be passing through places like this.

                  Chow for now.

Senator Al Franken, who is now mired in a sex abuse scandal after a picture emerged of him groping a sleeping woman’s breasts, once lectured conservatives on ‘respecting women’ and was called a “feminist ally”.

TV host and sports broadcaster Leeann Tweeden accused Franken of groping her while she slept during a December 2006 USO tour to entertain the U.S. military, and provided photo evidence to prove it.

“I felt violated all over again. Embarrassed. Belittled. Humiliated,” wrote Tweeden. “How dare anyone grab my breasts like this and think it’s funny?”

During a separate incident, Tweeden said Franken tried to kiss her as part of a rehearsal for a skit and “aggressively stuck his tongue” in her mouth.
