Can anyone explain what role the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) plays in global politics?
The Council of Foreign Relations is a group of people (politicians, businessmen, bankers, etc.) who plan the foreign policy of the United States. Their ideas for the most part have been of a neoconservative nature enforcing a system by which a "New World Order" can be established. Bankers and corporations are strengthened by this group and they disregard the struggles of the "regular" person. It is basically a bunch of "aristocrats" doing whatever they can to hold a tight grip on the financial and political systems of the world, keeping people and countries in debt.
The Council of Foreign Relations is tightly linked to the Federal Reserve Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Bilderberg Group. People who are members of the CFR are often members of the IMF and/or the Bilderberg Group. The financial slavery of the "common" man and woman will not end as long as undemocratic and secretive "groups" of people such as these continue to exist and make decisions for the entire world.
The Council of Foreign Relations (CFR ) is the Supreme body of US to implement the foreign policy. It is difficult for a developed country like US to design policy for equal distribution of wealth. A rich country always wants to remain rich. If the wealth is equally distributed by any policy, the parity between rich and poor will vanish. We want to see Earth; a world of heaven is only a verbal saying and not practical.
Mr. Happy pretty much answered the question. The bottom line is that this group of individuals believe they are superior to the rest of us and consider us all "useless eaters"
They don't care who they kill, or run over. Only care about power and control. Some of the most corrupt people in the world.
I just published a hub about the CFR. Had I saw the question first I would have answered by making the hub.

A recent article by Jack Kelly published at www.realclearpolitics.com notes the following:"Because he so often has “led from behind,” blustered and retreated, our enemies don’t fear our president; our allies don’t trust him; neither do they respect him. American influence has shrunk along with...
