Would you support Jon Stewart if he ran for president as an independent in 2012?
I would not vote for Jon Stewart because although he has attended law school, he is an entertainer and would need to bring his television script writer to the White House.
Yes! Although he is an entertainer, I think Jon Stewart is a very intelligent man, maybe just what America needs to get turned around!
I think I agree with Boogr, I would definitely vote for Jon Stewart. I think he is very intelligent, good willed, and if he presented a legitimate plan for his time in office I would support him.
However, I think Stewart running for office as an independent would have a profound effect on politics even though it is very unlikely he will actually be elected. Stewart would not be a democrat, nor a republican, but he would still have the support of millions of young adults who are often overlooked in politics. He has the potential to rock the bipartisan structure of US politics.
Frankly I just think it would be cool.
LOL this is a funny question. I don't think Stewart would ever run for president. If he did, I would vote for him if he was the most qualified candidate. He's more qualified than a lot of people running for president now! I agree that he is very intelligent and well spoken.

He referred to yesterday's AL and MS voters as "toothless":http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-shepp … z1p3LG4lTAThis guy is just mean! Why can't he be more like Jon Stewart? Stewart is actually funnier to me, yet he's not nearly as vile as Maher.
