Would every american know what country their government colonized or occupied?
we have never colonized any country. We have militarily occupied many countries, including during WWI, WWII, Korea, and three since.... Part of Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
To inform you our country the Philippines has been under american rule for fifity years not until our declared independence in 1945 after the second world war we were commonwealth then after we gain our full independence it took our country a little bit of time sending envoy to the White House asking the head government to look at us and evaluate that we are ready for independence. In the Philippines we have adapted an american way of life our education is instructionally English our books are all american inspired our character partly american in a sense. An additional history we were sold to the U.S government from Spain $20,000,000.00 way back then it was called the treaty of Paris a war then ensued between the american and spanish forces in Manila the capital city in the Philippines with Philippine forces with the side of the Americans not knowing that the war was ensued just to avoid shame of the Spanish government then were under spanish rule for Three hundred and thirty years to be exact so I hold these truth that my country is an american colony. Even Mark Twain in his journals criticized such occupation. But I'm thankful we were occupied by the americans colonized because they taught us democracy and education the spanish did not.

Should every American see "The Sole Survivor"?Freedom isn't free and every one of those who protect our freedoms everyday is a volunteer. To understand exactly what that means, see this true story and share with your fellow hubbers what you've taken away from the experience.
