Why is it an offence to make abusive comments on facebook, but not in your own home?
Making abusive comments is not good any where. Facebook is social network site so if you make any wrong comments over there, it may reach to any number of people and so it may hurt someone's feeling to some larger extent. I am not saying that one should make such comments at home. I think we should not make wrong comments any where.
Because Facebook is a public venue and brings the comments into the public realm.
Once you use electronic means to tell someone what you REALLY think 0f them it bumps it from a Violation to a Misdemeanor. A Violation is akin to a traffic ticket. A Misdemeanor can land you in jail.
Hint: Bitch 'em face to face not by telephone, computer, erc.
