   Not quite as much as it might be in a middle eastern country but it certainly is an inconvience and an expencive one at that.

   which threats are you referring to?  The threats on women? gays? illegal aliens?, drug users?  etc..
   These are all real threats and vicious attacks on these groups currently within this country.  The threats from outside terror groups take a back seat to those already in progress inside out own borders.

      Sorry d.william I can't condone the use if drugs in the USA.  We aren't a country of addicts. As for the threats on Illegals you used the word ILLEGAL...so if you commit the crime you do the time it is the American way.  But we all need to be safe!!

      I do not condone the use of drugs either. My point: users are jailed.  pushers go free. Also, illegals are one thing, but targeting Latinos is the problem. There is no middle ground here. Discrimination for any reason is the threat to democracy

      I live in Florida so I don't see Latinos targetted.  Discrimination is a threat to democracy so why can't the Democrats or anyone in politics help all the oppressed crippled autistic and developmentally disabled.  They are ostracized in society.

      caring for the developmentally disabled is a whole other issue. There were several facilities around Fl.that housed them and gave them good care. When the GOP took over Fla. they outsourced this care to pay back their wealthy benefactors.

      d. manners please.  Disbaled people don't need to be housed bubt integrated into society.  And civil rights for all is the point.  I am sorry you subscribe to discrimination for the disabled. Purple state means we have a significant number of Dems.

      no disrespect intended. Those who are unable to take care of themselves get mistreated in society, and often end up homeless. I do not discriminate against anyone. ? Fla is a republican state. You are judging me by your own interpretations.

      I am not judging you and no FLA is both a Republican and Democratic state. Obie won it in 2008 as it is a swing state. And maybe disabled people wouldn't be treated badly if society didn't tolerate.
      
      Civil rights are for everyone IMO!!
