Do you think a plea deal with Ariel Castro is right thing to do?
This man held 3 girls in Cleveland for over 10 years. He raped, tortured and fathered a child of one of the girls. He now has 978 felony counts against him, including murder of a fetus. They now may offer life in prison instead of death. Evidence of murder will be next to impossible to prove. I know he owes a debt to society, but should their pursuit of justice include making these girls re-live this, face the man, again, or lock him up and let these girls move on with their lives?
The girls did not want to face him in court and thousands of tax dollars were saved. They got what they wanted and the man will never see light again. It was a win win situation.
