   Are Britishers honest or they Lack character ?
   
   It has been long through my mind on the policies of Britain. I am still confused what an overall perception should I accept for Britishers. Kindly help me. Answer only if you know Britain`s History

   Britain has its bad history like any country but today it is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. It is also generally considered one of the most tolerant also.
   It takes people of character to accept those facts.

   England, contrary to France, for instance let go quickly on its colonies (India is the perfect example), although I consider the commonwealth organization as the remnants of the colonization era.
   In that same logic, in the oppression and attack of Syria by the US, England, Germany, France,Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar (let me know if I forgot any!), England (through its people) was the first one to withdraw its participation against this genocide.
   However England seems to have lost the independence that it gained with the queen Elizabeth (the only one that brought England to its grandeur) and Churchill. Now whatever big sister America is doing, England is following.
   If ever you mess with its territory (complaint valid or not), BEWARE. The Falklands that I consider Argentinian is another perfect example.
   To be honest, internationally if I had the presidency of a country, I would prefer to deal with England versus the US.

      You are right. And more or less close to the meaning of the question. There are some deep reasons. Suppose Britain in Historically have supported the Human rights but one cannot ignore the People Like General Dyre who led to the Massacre of Jaliawala

      I remember this event I studied it in history class. Terrible.
      Which colony ever respected the colonized? Is it proper to England? Leopold II of Belgium was one of the worst, if not the worst.
      In matter of politics who is honest? Not the West.

      well ! I would say that was the worst since that was pinnacle of savageness. But the fact that Allies in world war 2 floated that they are fighting for the equality and against inhumanity. So what was the 'Equality' that Britshers meant ?

      That would be another question. But based on the history I would surely say that Indians never supported the Racial theory. If they were Honest they were for British as well as Indians. Same case for the dishonesty of Indians!
