    What was the most significant event in your life in 2013?

    If there's one thing you cannot forget in 2013 what would that be? For me it would be the super typhoon that hit the Philippines.

    My father-in-law died on January 31.  It was a Thursday, He always looked forward to dinner and cards with his siblings on Thursday.  He died with them.  It was perfect.  No suffering and with people he loved. He hadn't been well for two years.

      Loss of a loved one is definitely hard.  My heart goes out to the family.

    My mother passed away January 13, 2013 at age 88.  Had no idea I would miss her so much; she was just always there for me.  Yes, she had a long, mostly good life.  But she's left such a hole in my life; it's hard to fill.

      We can never replace people that we love.  We will always miss them.  The moment we forget about them is when they truly die from our hearts.
