When you meet the right person, after a while you will "just know."
There isn't a significant event that tells everyone to get married. It's not like the marriage fairy visits and tells us. It's something that one just knows.
A big problem I see a lot is that people mistake the early "love" in a relationship for "just knowing." Give it time and if things don't change and you're still head over heals well after a year or two, You're ready.
You will know if you are ready for marriage when you meet someone you can't be without and when you ar mature enough to understand the meaning of a marriage.
No one is ready for marriage; being married makes you ready to be married.
There is no such thing as being ready for marriage. When you love a person you want to marry him\her. So you are ready for marriage. But being truly ready for marriage means making yourself adapted to a new life with proper understanding.
