Church etiquette is important, but most important is the act of attending regardless of what is worn. I typically recommend at least a casual dressy outfit the first time you attend any church. That way you are in the middle of the road, so to speak. For men, a pair of slacks and a polo shirt is always an acceptable look for church. For the ladies, a simple dress and a slight heel is never too much. Keep it a respectable length and a neckline that is not overly revealing.
