Every president from L.B.Johnson to Obama (except Reagan) ties! They're corrupt sycophants to the Corporate Party hegemony. Each one participated in the slow erosion of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I would stick Wilson in there, too. More research might show that more presidents were complicit, too, so the list of ties might increase.

And Lincoln wasn't as great as I once thought. He may have been innovative with economic policy (and that may have contributed to his death), but he was a tyrant. Booth was right, though wrong in his own solution. Before Lincoln, it was "these United States;" afterward it was "The United States." Forced togetherness is as bad as today's legislated "compassion" (socialism/communism).

But I think the question is misplaced. Perhaps we should be asking, "Who is the least favorite ruler of America." I'd have to say the Rockefeller family and a few of their friends. All those billions easily purchased the government. And it only took a century to do it.

George W. Bush, bar none. Because no matter how much people curse Obama and his "communist" tendencies or complain about the economy, they're just having a selective amnesia about the time when it was EMBARRASSING to say you were American while traveling in another country.
