I have posted in forums, feeling that some of my comments have been attacked, rather than commented on. I know there's  a lot of tension in these forums sometimes. I don't understand it???

How can someone get their knickers in a knot about something someone has typed? And why do some peeps feel the need to attack others, i think it's for their own sick entertainment.

If you ever have anything negative to say to me, don't bother, because someones negative text can't effect me in the slightest. I do not entertain nasty idiots. More peeps should take the same attitude, and then maybe people can be nicer to one another.

I have a theory why people are mean in the forums.  I think in their real life they would like to lash out at others but they do not have the intestinal fortitude to do it. It is much easier to be a meanie when you are hiding behind a virtual facade.

Lol yeah. But why though? Does it not upset people when they upset others? If i upset someone, it's never deliberate, and i feel awful to hurt another person. Some peeps parents failed to teach them a little something called ediquitte. Yeas i know thats a shocking mispelling. These peeps might as weell be baboons, but thats an insult to baboons..

If they are at work they would like nothing better to vent at coworkers or even superiors but they cannot.  So they take their rage into these forums and vent at anyone who irks them.  Either that or they are just miserable people and of course "Misery loves company"

No I am just as vile in reality. Seriously just say what I think it is more honest, that plus as the marcel said, why would anyone give a toss about a bit of text.
You really would have to be super sensitive, and I am not.

Because some people can't or choose not to control their emotions when they get mad. Some choose to act like lawless animals. I have been guilty before. lol

      "Just" text?!  :-)

Words have power, whether spoken in person or written out.  Think of all the things that are "just" text.  The Constitution, Declaration of Independence, collected works of Shakespeare... dare I mention the Bible?

It effects me, but not directly. In reality, words don't hurt me. But they do hurt some people. like my partner is a really emotional person and gets upset if peeps say nasty things to him, i don't get upset, i disregard negativity.

But it does hurt me to see other people suffer, whom are not as strong. Suffering, (Dahkka) can lead to torment. Human beings don't deserve that from one another.

I get angry when people are rude to me online - why? Because people online aren't robots - they are real people. They are just like the folks you speak to in the flesh on a daily basis.

I try not to let people bother me, but I still get annoyed by people who are rude to me online and in person.

What types of rude things have people said to you? I'm new here.

I think it is the fact that people are arguing over beliefs.  If you look at the forums, the Religion forum here on hubpages is the largest forum BY FAR.  That being said, when I joined the company that I presently work for I had to attend training seminars that spoke of the dangers in discussing politics or religion in the workplace.

If you look at history then you will see that wars have been started over religion.  Wars have been started by religion, for religion, and about religion.

It is completely absurd to me as to why people want to debate their beliefs in an open forum on hubpages.  Which is a writing website.  Not a theological one.

The above statements are the opinions of Dave272727 and in no way represent the views of the rest of the world.

I agree with you Dave. In reality, we don't go about show casting our beliefs, and trying to stuff them into others..But some people seem to think it's acceptable to do it online.
