men what do you really think

    I have to ask this question. Why is it so often seen,in relationships,that women cater more to the man then vice versa? So guys,do you think,women should look after you? Why do you like women to look after you? Does it make you feel more valued when your woman looks after you?

      i think this is a generalization. I have always been the caretaker and provider in my relationships.

      however, a man who does have women look after him, maybe because he is a mama's boy. or believes women should be in a subservient position.

      you also have to consider that a woman who is too insecure to demand more from her man and takes care of him as a result should not point the finger at him, but rather at herself. Babying a man is never the solution.

      lastly, women have fought for equal rights, but our society has become a society dependent on the female ideal. It is becoming increasingly difficult to be a man, because we are programmed by the media to apologize simply for being so. So now that women do hold this kind of power, is it really fair to resent being relied upon by a nation of men raised by women?

    Hi christine, Can I also share my opinion, and answer this one too? ,,it should be bothways, but for me I always want to take care of my man, cook and support him all the way in every way I can...so it is ok for me if that is the way, but I also want my man to be sensitive to my needs and wants, if not I will tell him taht I need to be take care as well

    It might also be more a sense of desperation than a sense of self worth.  Women don't have a large pool of men to choose from and they dont have that much time to choose a good man.  So I have to ask Women. Do you settle on a man, rather than waiting for THE ONE?

    Don't women (generalizing) have a natural tendency to nurture and tend to the nest? A natural wanting perhaps.  Isn't this the most common way a woman gets a man?  She fluffs her feathers and gives beautifully to him, in order that he gives back to her. She gets the ring, makes some babies.  But when he doesn't stack up she whacks him over the ears! smile

      i would say women are built to nurture more so than men are. Women are soft, and have built in pillows to raise sleeping children and to feed and comfort them. In this discussion, the word 'children' could easily be replaced with 'men'.

      but nowadays, many women have many ploys to get a man. Lying about their age; misrepresenting their true appearance with make up, heels and breast implants; not using a condom; pretending to be one of the guys. the list is endless.

      more women are concerned with just fluffing their feathers and not concerned with giving at all. Sometimes they give ONLY to get, or only give WHEN they get. attempting to be devoid of responsibility.

      the point here is that, surrounding oneself with insecurity in any sense is not very insightful. women end up in these situations a lot of times because of the way they set themselves up at the beginning. Now they have to take care of a man. not a good place to be.
