Should transgender people have their own bathroom, or be allowed to go into the gender they Id as?
As the debate about sexual orientation equality continues to develop, this is one of the discussion points.that is continuing to come up...
I think the person should use the bathroom in which ever one they identify with. The thought that transgender people are somehow a threat is ridiculous.
There is no point in making a separate bathroom. Male or female bathrooms are fine, and a transgender person should simply choose the bathroom they feel comfortable with. It's not like people use the restroom (most of the time) for some sexual purpose so I am not sure why it is such a big deal.
Your attitude makes sense to me, but I guess some folks are concerned that they will see a man with his genitals showing in the female bathroom or the opposite with a woman in the male...but most are just going to use the bathroom......
Female bathrooms have stalls, nobody pulls there pants down outside of the stalls. So it's not like a woman will be able to see anything unless she is invading someone's privacy.
Good point, plus most family bathrooms are both gender friendly......contrary to what us guys do when we don't let the lid down...SMILE
