   Have you already or do you plan to prepare for an apocalyptic state in the United States? Why?
   
   Many signs point toward a potential apocalyptic event coming, including prophesy in the Bible. Preparation for this type of event could make or break a person's ability to survive. Have you made any preparations?

   Why bother living in that world, when this one isn't going so well itself.
   I want to live, and not survive.
   Unfortunately, for billions of people in the world today, they already think they are in the apocalypse.

      I am living in Chaos here that has existed since the 70s, but not the apocalypse found in the 3rd world countries. If you don't see the difference, then that is a problem.

   Absolutely not.  And I believe in America's downfall in the future.  I should be preparing, but I haven't gotten around to it.

      I agree...it is in the future.  I began as a "joke", then continued with one item each week.  I'm not prepared by any means, however.

   I have no intention of surviving an apocalypse. I already have a poor opinion of the human race, and I don't imagine the end times will bring out the best in people. I think I have half a bottle of Vicodin left over from when I had surgery. I'm sure that and a bottle of wine are all the preparations I need.

      Revelations 9:6 states that people will want to die but will be unable. The human race is flawed. We all fall short. However God provided a way out of it all through Jesus Christ.John 3:16 tells us that believing in Jesus gives us eternal paradise.

   Economic collapse under socialist Sanders - just following example of Venezuela and other socialist totalitarian states, so reasonable
   Economic collapse under Clinton - less likely, more a slow to no growth scenario with a growing population entirely due to immigration, so quality of life goes down as society fractures but not apocolypse
   Under a true conservative, economy rebounds as it did under Ronald Regan, though the media will suddenly start reporting on the homeless and the 15% unemployed / under employed / on disability to make what they didn't report under eight years of Obama suddenly look like the new guy's fault

      Exactly!  My preparations came following the tornado that struck Joplin only a few miles away. It was a challenge to go days without electricity. Preparing for an unlikely event helps everyone. Politically, I don't think anyone believes news anymore.
