I have heard many voters say that Obama never new what he was doing when he authorized the last stimulus bill.

Many say that he freely gave out money without a sure plan to get it back.

However; I have heard others say that it was all a plan to make the heath care reform a greater need?

    What do you think?

Obama had alternative motives with the stimulus that is tied in with the new health care reform?

The man is a genius, he saved America from going through a full scale depression. Had he let the motor industries fall, people would be eating rats.

Sorry fall was the wrong word to use, Bush had already
            brought it to the ground

Yes of course if a business fails it must be the presidents fault.  Yeah sure.

It has nothing to do with making products of poorer quality than foreign competition.

It has nothing to do with the Unions no it's all the governments responsibility.

The people who run the business should have nothing to do with its success.

Everything would collapse if the government doesn't interfere just look at all the sustainable government programs we have today.

I don't know about poorer quality foreign good, there is no way I'll buy a fords. I'll opt for a quality Japanese or German from experience they are better value for money. The presidents must take responsibility, and what a great president he is. he took full responsibility for the recent security mess up. The Nigerian using human intelligence gave the US intelligence all the intelligence they needed and they still messed up. If you did not vote for Obama last time make sure you vote for him next. What he should sack the lot of them and employ Nigerians

I haven't seen any evidence that he's saved America from anything. All I see is someone who's spent money we don't have so our grandkids can owe a huge debt.

Choices are limited, what would be better subsidies until the economy picks up or nationalisation. Are there any alternative, that can be suggested, I'm willing to learn.

He is nothing more than a Puppet of the Invisible Government.  He does as he is told.

Obama is part of the Bilderberg Group, just like the Bush Family and the Clintons.

The Invisible Government is called the American constitution which is out dated, Every government has to work within the frame work that constitution, blame it on the founding fathers. If that is to be challenge we will be talking revolution comrade. to challenge the  the constitution is to challenge the American way of life.
American way of life. To challenge the American will be considered an act of treason.

Hard to believe that are still people around that will not admit to the disaster Bush created for 8 years, taking America deep into the Dark Ages.

Obama can't undo overnight all the damage that bush has created during his uninspired presidency.
The economy and the reputation of America was mortally damaged; the first signs of a fragile recovery are already visible for the ones who are not blinded by prejudice

What I would like someone to say is that when Bush left office the American economy was in great shape. It was when the republican candidate cut his campaign and went to the white house, things went pear shape. When Obama turned up at the white house, they realise his IQ was higher than both Bush and McCain put together. I'm not a Bush basher I'm just saying he was useless and McCain would have being worse.

Ah Petra, I wish you were right. Yet I only see signs of the upcoming disaster, which Obama helps a lot to deliver. This is not to say Bush didn't, as well as a dozen or more presidents before him. smile

      Petra Vlahposted 14 years ago

Yes, we may not be out of the woods yet Misha, but for some to put the blame on a president that inherited a total disaster is unfair to say the least.

It will take decades to repair the damage done by Bush and I am not so sure it will ever be the same.

Mishaposted 14 years agoin reply to this

It will never be the same. And I would not blame it on Bush, it goes back at least to 1913 IMO. Both Bush and Obama are just continuing in the general directions started back then. smile
