i'd say we'll know tomorrow....not that i mind learning another language, just not in these circumstances. i can respond to trump in the only russian i know....nyet!
Perhaps not long... Under the Obama administration Putin certainly has become more of a threat. Just today the news reports Russia has been having talks with Iran, and we know that they are widely respected by China, who has good ties with North Korea. Let's not forget Russia all but winning the Syrian war for Assad. I would say Russia is holding all the cards. If there was a war, it is clear we would lose. So, you just may be right, speaking Russian just might come in handy. I will not assume that Trump can "fix" our failed relationship with Putin, but I will put that failed relationship on the President that caused it, Obama. Yes Trump will have a lot of relationships to mend.to do. I pray he can come through for all of us.
Guess it is no different then the bad relationship the 2nd Bush had with Canada. Not surprising anyway you look at it.

Is there anyone in the Trump administration who hasn't met with the Russians?Donald Jr., son-in-law and Manafort met with a well know Putin connected lawyer ostensibly to hear dirt on Hillary. That was one version, then Jr. added to the tale after a NYT article spilled the beans on the meeting....
