Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward opens with an astonishing incident. In September 2017, Gary Cohn, President Trump’s top economic adviser, removed a letter from the president’s desk. The letter purported to terminate America’s free trade agreement with South Korea – a vital US ally in the Asia Pacific. Cohn decided he could not afford to take the risk: ‘I stole it off his desk. I wouldn’t let him see it. He’s never going to see that document. Got to protect the country. Trump can create jobs and Career opportunities.
I think people are afraid of Trump for a number of reasons.
1) He's an outsider, meaning he's an unknown quantity. People tend to fear what they don't know. Conservatives initially had a hard time believing Trump's sudden moves to the right. liberals feared to lose their progressive gains in the Obama administration.
2) He attacked the mainstream liberal media and challenged their hegemony of power over information, which has been in place since the late forties. Trump bypassed the media and spoke directly to the American people and this threatened to marginalize the mainstream press, they reacted by demonizing Trump.
3) He effectivity challenged the hypocritical liberal elite and their politically correct ideas, which silenced and marginalized many Americans from voicing their opinions.
4) Trump's communication while effective is often blunt and unrefined. He steps on many toes.
Interesting to read some of the recent postings on this thread, when compared to those posted three years ago. It seems some people blindly hold on to old beliefs despite evidence to the contrary. Pragmatism has truly been replaced by ideology...or to be more precise, replaced by the "golden calf."
he was actually a Good business man and knows how to deal their voter by implementing right political strategy so he run campaigns of hate... and other tricky things he do to done his job...

I think the left fears President Donald Trump because he was so much better than biden. He illustrates how misguided and iditoic the democrats and the left are in so many ways. President Donald Trump can achieve things the democrats can't.
Lower gas prices
Energy independence
Peace around the world
A secure boarder
A solid and successful economy
These are just a few of the things democrats can't achieve that President Donald Trump can and will starting in 2024.

I won't be voting in the 2016 election, as all the candidates who did seem to have good sense lost, and the two vying for office... Don't seem to be very bright... But aside from that, it feels like a set up, as a means to manipulate history. Neither is doing anything to breed confidence, and feels...

I never want to hear the words “America is better than this” again. I never want to be told about America’s better angels.I want honesty. I want an admission of exactly who we are as a country, and let’s be damn clear about that definition: We are a country that just elected – that just willfully...

Who will WIN the American Presidency- Clinton OR Trump?
by Kathryn L Hill 7 years ago
Its un-constitutional to fight against a president so hard. What would happen if we just let him be? Once a President is elected his records should be sealed. After he's in, it's too late to put him on trial.Has he done anything to date that is impeachable? He happens to love this country. Prove he...

Prior to the Debate... and then Assassination attempt... and then Biden stepping down...My evaluation of how things were trending weeks ago led me to believe that (fair election or not) the Democrats were going to win the election... as I have often noted on here before:Women make up 52% or more of...

Three months ago, if anyone would had told me that Donald Trump had a snowball's chance in hell of becoming the next President, I would have laughed myself unconscious. But today, I am not so sure. It is not so much that Trump is gaining so much more momentum as it is the Clinton campaign is losing...
