WV Governor Jim Justice just announced switching from Dem to Rep - thoughts?

He told the people of West Virginia today that the Democrats abandoned him and the state so he's getting on the Trump train.

Yes.Turns out justice owes millions in taxes after a deal he made w a russian coal company. People are speculating trump made a deal w him:Become repub, we'll get rid of those taxs. They want to rewrite the constitution. This is war on this republic.

That's no different than a woman changing her dress. It's still the same woman underneath. There is only one political party in the United States, as they are both controlled by the same ruling elite. In other words, this is just another distraction to enhance the illusion of a two party system. These are my deep thoughts, succinct and profound.

Good for him.  I grew up in a family of republicans but at least one of my brothers changed to democrat, mainly because most democrats are pro-union.  That is one of the reasons why I sometimes vote Dem-though I am still a registered republican

Brilliant strategy... if a Republican politician ran against him in the political climate of WV so long as that candidate were deemed semi-competent by the voters he would likely win.

So the smart thing to do, to ensure that doesn't happen?
    Become a Republican.

Yawn.  So, a billionaire who made his money from coal switches from Republican to Democrat in a state that is predominately Republican.  Trump irrational policy on coal has created hundreds of new jobs in WV. Big deal.  Probably the most useless bit of news in the last 6 months.

Unless this push by kochs to change the constitution is real. They need more repubs to do it, so they can enshrine  "greed is good" on the statue of liberty, and place a roll of bills in hand in place of the torch. They are not playing. They want usa.
