I would say a state of confusion... the Democratic party is in disarray with no clear leader at the moment.
The Republican party, even though they are in the majority in both houses and the Presidency, just can't seem to do anything...
The Trump administration seems to have a hard time dealing with the establishment... the swamp is still there for the most part and with the help of the media... They want to take down this outsiders any way they can. The left over officials in the administration is also doing their best with leaks to damage the Trump brand.
Then their is the FBI and Comey... He has totally disgraced himself and the agency by acting like the partisan politician he is. Who can you trust anymore?
Just my opinion... I feel America has never been so divided in a very long time. Our ideologies vary severely. On one side we have many wanting a form of Socialism, and on the other we have people demanding change due to an increasing realization the politicians in Washington have lead us astray.
You have people depending on sheer innate common sense, and those that choose to use little common sense. Disregarding our constitution, as well as our laws. Can we be survive as a country that does not follow the laws we made? Can we survive ignoring our constitution?
We have the largest debt we have ever had. Yet many feel we should open our borders, which could very well lead to enormous costs taking on so many more. On the other hand many want immigration control, and that our immigration laws be followed. This is just one very common sense example of just how divided we are.
The problem is there are so many differences that attribute to the device. Both sides are left with bitter feelings, and the attitude that there is only one right. This leave us in a state of political confusion.
Hopefully the new president will be a voice for all of us as he promised, and bring about some cohesiveness Realistically I don't have much hope that this will occur. However, my common sense tells me we are in for a very long hard 8 years.
The one thing everybody has a need for is certainty. The Trump administration is loaded with uncertainty. Trump prides himself on being unpredictable. He will contradict himself in one day, more than the Kama Sutra has positions. A president can't run a country on uncertainty. He has hired and fired so many of his cabinet members it is hard to keep up with him.
His counter punching with North Korea is all bluster. One day, he is going to build the wall. The next day he postpones it indefinitely. One day, we are going to pay for it; the next day Mexico is going to pay for it. One day he is going to deport all the DACA people; the next day he loves them and is going to make other arrangements. One day he is going to shut the government down; the next day he sides with the democrats and leaves it open for three months. One day he sides with the right wing supremacist; the next day he denounces them.
He and the republican congress have not passed any meaningful legislation because they are both good at only attacking the other side. They did it for eight years with Obama and Hillary and that is all they know. The political state of America is UNCERTAINTY for the foreseeable future. This includes tax reform and the repeal and replacement of Obama care. A good manager doesn't motivate with uncertainty, threats, and unreasonable schedules and goals. That's from management 101.
All you all know TRUMP IS CRAZY. That sums it up. Politicians have jumped on the CRAZY TRAIN and we're enjoying the ride, right?
