Will changing the TAX from Income to Sales be more fair?
The left is blaming the republicans and their tax cut for the "Rich", but there are 540 US Billionaires today and almost 11 million millionaires. In 1987 there were only 41 billionaires. And although the democrats and the republicans each got control of the congress and presidents during that time, the rich got richer.
Shouldn't we blame the 1913 Income Tax Amendment and Laws as well as both parties for high taxes. The reason that marginal tax rates on the rich don't matter to them is because they have the Internal Revenue Code to get them out of taxes. Bill Gates at 86 billion, do the math.

Newt seems to me to have slit his own throat with his criticism of the Ryan Medicare privatization proposal which was adopted nearly unanimously by the House last month. Moreover, the House vote may have cost the GOP seats in in several elections coming up soon and next year. As Eric Alterman said,...

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY), pronounced wee-ner by the way, has publicly made the claim that the inheritance tax is fair because the individual leaving the inheritance is dead. Basically, what do they care? They're dead. Besides, it's only FAIR. (I hate that word. ...
