Do you believe that Trump's actions in Syria will lead the United States to World War III?  Why?  Why not?

If Syria sparks WWIII I don't think it's fair to blame Trump, solely.

It would be a little premature to think that Trump's actions would lead to such an outcome. I have less concern about this among major nuclear powers. I am more nervous about Pakistan and possibly North Korea, countries with arsenals in circumstances where traditional MAD assumptions to keep the peace may not apply.

No.  I DO believe we're heading towards another world war, but Trump is simply the current cog in the wheel....nothing he's doing is more concerning than former presidents.  And Trump's not a supporter of some of the recent  US military interventions, so perhaps he's a tad better in this regard than past presidents.

Trump is an isolationist at heart I believe ,  although by nature a great negotiator , I don't believe he wants to waste the blood and treasures anywhere in one more politicized confrontation ,especially seeings they're  ALL  Viet -Nams at this point .  American voters no longer have the stomach for in depth wars .  Cruise missiles and drones is fathomable but troops on the ground is distasteful  . So no war today folks ,
    Police actions ?

To what end? Why would anyone attack us? I'm pretty sure they knew we were against the use of chemical warfare and that we had to take action in keeping with our historic role as the "Good Guys."
who ever opposes US are the Bad Guys.
Who wants to be a bad guy?

… who do not think we are the Good Guys so much.
What in particular have we done that is not in line with being a Good Guy?
I know there are lots, but we always disguise what we do … its so sneaky.

Possible WWIII ? I shouldn't voice this but here goes .    Like 9/11  we WILL  be attacked once again somehow , somewhere , someway by another ideology or nation , a bio-chem. attack ,  an infrastructure attack ,  homegrown terror , The possibilities of a large attack with high casualties is getting stronger each month ,each year .

The part of me with a decent imagination sees an attack that will make Trump obstruction seem like an old news paper headline .  Imagine multiple thousands of casualties perhaps an entire city or state ?  The Trump resistance will go instantly silent and ALL of the Trump protesting will hide behind patriotism once again .

WWIII ? , No , just time for America to mature up .
