The latest revelations about google and their bias clearly shows a problem with this company and also the social media that they are a part of. The only thing they understand is $$$. If half their customers are to walk away, do you think they will finally get it? I normally are not big on boycotts. However, in this case, I am willing to make an exception. It is the free market that drives efficiency and in this case, it will be the free market forces that drives equality and fairness in the political arena. No companies should be exempt.
Here is the disturbing video -

"The only thing they understand is $$$"
Is there a corporation that description doesn't apply to?
I am making a conscious effort to stop using google search.
Google is a pain. I walked away on the computer years ago. They were too full of ads and now they are too invasive in our privacy. I do need to change my email.
The problem with Google is they are so ubiquitous when it comes to android phones and are finding more and more ways to entangle us in their services. Google, for free, saves your contacts, photos, texts, call logs, calendar events, content. Free is a powerful motivator. People will sacrifice a lot for it. And Google looks at all of it.
I read an article the other day that Google alerted users that the government had requested release of information. They were suspected hackers, under investigation. As if the government should be considered more invasive of your privacy than Google is and they were taking the moral high ground. What a hoot.
Wake up people. Google tracks your every move. They listen in on your conversations. They throw out ads that are generated through this spying. But, it is the natural evolution of a consumer society. If you can't boycott Google, I'd make a concerted effort not to purchase anything advertised through it.
You are absolutely correct. I am starting to use duckduckgo as my search engine. It is ad free.
Truthfully anyone that doesn't recognize the media bias just "proven" by the Breitbart /Google tapes has been in the closet for a couple of decades , this is however just the tip of the needle in media bias . Twitter , Facebook , Google ,........all admittedly biased and manipulative in news broadcasting, conservative banning and shadowing from the top down .
The larger question ? What happens to tomorrow's media trust by the people ? Sure , liberal ideologies are taking home the bacon on these bias advantages now but what about in the future , is the financial benefit today worth the loss of viewership and trust tomorrow ? In truth , it is even doubtful the democrats will gain much at all from this daily barrage of incredible news bias in the 2018 midterms .
Bias now -pay later .
Welcome to HubPages and joining the conversation. I see you are new here.
Thank you sir , Yes , I DO believe it's time for conservatives to fight back , we will all remember well who began the boycotting game and who will finish the same !
They have far too much power, as does Facebook, as does Twitter, and the three of them, and others, absolutely hate those of us who see ourselves as citizens of a nation, instead of global citizens.
I'm straight. I'm white. I'm male. I'm from the south. I'm Christian. I'm the lowest of the low for the cultural Marxist. What a joke when someone with the same demographic attributes as me votes for a Democrat.
Lol, this is a joke, right? Are you saying Republicans favor straight, white male Christians?
Republican conservatives are color blind and favors all people equally. It is the left who engages in identity politics.
Yeah, okay. Did you read what this guy just wrote?
"I'm straight. I'm white. I'm male. I'm from the south. I'm Christian. I'm the lowest of the low for the cultural Marxist. What a joke when someone with the same demographic attributes as me votes for a Democrat."
just wondering why that would be a joke unless, of couse, you believe Republicans favor straight, white Christian males....from the south. Straight, white Christian males from New York or California are apparently not in the club.
I read what he posted and I have no idea what he mean. If he has a message, it is lost to me.
Jack it is very clear what he means. What he means jack is not what PP tries to twist what he says by trying to put words in his mouth that he never said. What he means is he believes people like him “I'm straight. I'm white. I’m male. I'm from the south. I'm Christian.”
Are hated by the left:
“I'm the lowest of the low for the cultural Marxist”
(By the Democrats) so
“What a joke when someone with the same demographic attributes as me votes for a Democrat.”
I think it is very clear what he meant, he said what he meant, it requires no interpretation as PP suggests by trying to twist what he said.
He is saying people who vote for people who hate his demographic are a joke - it makes no sense.
Obama and Hiliary both expressed hatred for his demographic, there is no question of that.
Do you see now, Jack?
I've read some pretty dumb stuff on the forums....
Exactly. It's not the Republican who is a racist, sexist, misandrist, and so forth and so on. None of those things are conservative at all. It is the Democrat who wants to put everyone into little oppression boxes, and have them all compete in the oppression olympics.
I completely agree here too. I am female, Christian, and straight. And it's just a constant barrage of how bad things are for blacks, hispanics, gay people, and other so-called minorities. They just attack straight Christians for being straight and Christian. It's like if you live in a neighborhood or town with mostly white people it's a crime or something when you look at black people and they all live in the same neighborhoods together and go to church together or whatever. If we have to have black people in our neighborhoods, why don't black people have to have white people in their neighborhoods?
And if a Christian baker has to make a cake for a gay couple, shouldn't gay people have to make cakes for straight people the way they want them?
What Wesman is saying , I believe , is that he is at the lowest of the low in the eyes of the left today , straight , white ,southern, christian and that perhaps he see's the hypocrisy in leftists opinions OF his social standings .
Perhaps if he said he was hispanic , illegal , atheist , a resister , and a Trump hater he might be looked upon differently by the left , I'm not sure ?
Right on Ed, he said what he said, it doesn’t need interpretation but because the left see it as offensive they have to belittle him, it’s how they roll.
I didn’t see your post until after I posted mine.
I am Asian, highly educated, a Christian and a Conservative, and an American.
Yes, and I’d say it would be a joke if you voted Democrat.
What do you say?
Since we are on the subject, I am Black, well educated, leans Judeo-Christian, Progressive/Liberal and an American. How do you get that square peg in a round hole?
Don't forget objective, informed and rational.
But, I can get over the top sometimes, I leave it to objective, informed and rational people to point that out and I am grateful.
oh gawwwddd! it's a damn lovefest.
I'm telling Jake!

Of course I am including you in that statement, GA. It went without saying.
No, no, no. I don't want to be included.

I'm glad to see other Christians standing up for what's right. I hope other Christians on this board will agree with me. Liberals have pretty much made it so that we can't speak the word of God and can't follow the Bible. Imagine, it's actually practically illegal to follow the Bible and practice our religion in the United States - the country that we founded!
Take homosexuality, for instance. Gay people are pushing their agenda on us and not allowing us to follow the word of God. Gay people have made a choice about their sexuality and while I don't care what they do among themselves, they can't expect Christians to stand by and allow them to teach homosexuality in schools. It's an abomination in the eyes of God and we simply can't allow this degradation of our society. They may want to get married, but we know what God thinks of this.
That whole post sounds strangely unchristian. Coming from one claiming they are a Christian. Is that some kind of a joke?
How is it unChristian? I am a believer in the Bible and I'm just stating what is in the Bible. Every Christian in this forum who follows the Bible knows this to be true. I don't judge homosexuals, but they cannot force their beliefs on Christians and ask us to go against God and the Bible. That is what liberals are doing - asking us to believe and condone sin. We simply can't do it and we can't support it.
I am certainly willing to love and support any gay person who renounces their way of life and welcome them into the kingdom of heaven, but until they do so, they, and all people who practice homosexuality, will be judged in the eyes of God and sent to hell.
Please provide a link to my "belirrling" him.
I don't find it offensive, but I do find it telling.
Well, now, that's fascinating, since I would consider myself to.be left of center and am married to a straight, white Christian male from Florida. I love him, in fact. He is definitely not "the lowest of the low." Further, my entire extended family on both sides contains straight, white Christian males from the south, since my parents and all of their children were born in Arkansas or Louisiana and are almost exclusively Southern Baptist.
Who knew that I, a person who is left of center, consider them to be "the lowest of the low"? I don't think they feel that at all.
Do you realize how dumb this is?
why is it dumb? You vote Democrat, that is a joke, given all the nasty stereotypye things democrat leadership says about Christians, southerners, white men. Have you not heard of Obama’s guns and religion remark. During her 2016 campaign, Mrs. Clinton invoked concepts like intersectionality, white privilege, implicit bias and systemic racism. She warned of “deplorables,” while Mr. Obama once gave a speech arguing that “to wish away the resentments of white Americans, to label them as misguided or even racist, without recognizing they are grounded in legitimate concerns” was something that “widens the racial divide, and blocks the path to understanding.”
Yeah I’d say for a white male Christian southerner to vote for the likes of these cultural marxists isn’t just dumb, it’s a joke. Gotta agree with Wes on this one.
How long will it be before leftist slanted commercials hit the airways , ,anyone want to guess ? You know like ...................." Subaru , the car that only liberals truly understand !"
Or , " McDonalds ,The Liberals happy meals for only the most activist of marchers " ?
Any takers ?
Well you can bet it will be in NY, the state whose governor proclaimed conservatives are not welcome in NY! So what is he, the governor of all the people of NY or the king of liberal NY? Of course he then later declares America was never that great...One has to wonder why he would say that when many of his party want him to run for President. Could it be he hates America because it was founded by conservatives and conservatives want the founder’s vision preserved...I don’t think it is hard to figure that out.
Cuomo has run for president before hasn't he , look at those incredible results .
Cuomo will never be elected President. He has done a terrible job here as governor of NY. We are the highest taxed and corruption is rampant. Don’t forget he said “America was never that great...”
Cuomo is a political corruption robot , forgive me as I know there are some amazing Americans in New York but why do voters in states like NY keep electing some of the most corrupt politicians known to mankind........ever .
Easy to answer, blue states like NY are basically slave to the elitist Democrat familial dynasties. Cuomo’s father who nearly bankrupted the state (which is the only reason it went Republican to fix it) and the Clinton’s of course, these people are viewed by the party as mafia like godfather families who are the pillars of the party and of course that is a trump card to any challenger.

Quite a powerful story:http://www.danoah.com/2012/04/a-teens-b … e-gay.htmlI think this explains why so many of us are bothered by the "hate the sin, not the sinner" nonsense that many right-wing Christians trot out. Homosexuality is not an act, it's a fundamental orientation, and...
