          It would indeed be interesting to see what some of the brilliant minds of history would make of what civilization has become... and what they would make of the current opportunities of this moment in time.

          Nanotechnology, Neural-implants, Internet, AI, etc.

          I always like listening to a good conversation between others with higher amounts of information and insight to work with. IE:
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ted-qUqqU4

          A very interesting discussion... perhaps rather than hunter gatherer incentives...
          AI and humanity join to become a collective... where the goals of the collective are the incentive ... and the collective rewards those that accomplish or are most capable.

          Between genetic modifications and neural implants and global AI awareness/connectivity there is bound to be a shift in what we, humanity, become.

      Newsflash, Christians aren't under attack.   That assumption is beyond ridiculous.   Christians are safe.  This propaganda regarding attacks on Christians is pure hyperbole.   To tell the truth, it isn't Christians that are under attack, it is Atheists who are under attack.

        I think you need to look into this a bit more.

        Yet the previous Administration engaged in an egregious pattern of targeting peaceful Christians, while ignoring violent, anti-Christian offenses.  The Biden Department of Justice sought to squelch faith in the public square by bringing Federal criminal charges and obtaining in numerous cases multi-year prison sentences against nearly two dozen peaceful pro-life Christians for praying and demonstrating outside abortion facilities.  Those convicted included a Catholic priest and 75-year-old grandmother, as well as an 87-year-old woman and a father of 11 children who were arrested 18 months after praying and singing hymns outside an abortion facility in Tennessee as a part of a politically motivated prosecution campaign by the Biden Administration.  I rectified this injustice on January 23, 2025, by issuing pardons in these cases.

             At the same time, Catholic churches, charities, and pro-life centers sought justice for violence, theft, and arson perpetrated against them, which the Biden Department of Justice largely ignored.  After more than 100 attacks, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning this violence and calling on the Biden Administration to enforce the law.

             Then, in 2023, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) memorandum asserted that “radical-traditionalist” Catholics were domestic-terrorism threats and suggested infiltrating Catholic churches as “threat mitigation.”  This later-retracted FBI memorandum cited as support evidence propaganda from highly partisan sources.

             The Biden Department of Education sought to repeal religious-liberty protections for faith-based organizations on college campuses.  The Biden Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sought to force Christians to affirm radical transgender ideology against their faith.  And the Biden Department of Health and Human Services sought to drive Christians who do not conform to certain beliefs on sexual orientation and gender identity out of the foster-care system.  The Biden Administration declared March 31, 2024 — Easter Sunday — as “Transgender Day of Visibility.”

              In this atmosphere of anti-Christian government, hostility and vandalism against Christian churches and places of worship surged, with the number of such identified acts in 2023 exceeding by more than eight times the number from 2018.  Catholic churches and institutions have been aggressively targeted with hundreds of acts of hostility, violence, and vandalism.

    My thoughts

    First I find before one comments on the EO one should read it,  not just glean information secondhand from Google U.   In my view, When discussing a factual document, it is far more intelligent to first read and understand the document in its entirety before adding one’s own thoughts or interpretations. How can one form a well-informed view without fully digesting the factual material?   I mean in this case the document has been offered. So one can read it, and share their views on what it says.
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential … tian-bias/

    I fully support President Trump’s executive order to create a Justice Department task force dedicated to eliminating "anti-Christian bias" within the federal government. Religious freedom is a cornerstone of American society, and it’s vital that individuals and organizations are able to practice their faith without facing discrimination or bias, especially from government institutions. This shouldn’t be a temporary or reactive measure, like what we saw after 9/11 when there was widespread demand to protect the Muslim faith from discrimination in the wake of horrific attacks. That same mindset should be applied consistently to all religions, not just those that find themselves at the center of national conversations due to tragedy. Every religion deserves equal protection from bias, and it’s crucial that our laws reflect that. Our nation was founded on principles influenced by Christianity.

    I’m emphasizing that religious freedom should be consistently protected for all faiths, not just in reaction to a specific event, like the protection of Muslims after 9/11. I believe the importance of maintaining a broad and fair approach to safeguarding religious rights is crucial. The same protection given to one religion due to national tragedy should apply to all religions equally, including Christianity.

        To start with I am concerned about its vagueness.

        Define Christianity.

        Define Bias.

        Define Anti-Christian.

        1. Willowarbor profile image61
          Willowarborposted 4 weeks agoin reply to this

          Exactly.   Well  there are thousands of denominations that fall under Christianity, I think defining it would depend on which group you ask.  Jehovah witnesses call themselves The true christians.  The Mormons who regularly come to my door tell me that others don't understand God's message and that's why they invented their own books on top of the Bible in order to promote their own separate views.   Evangelicals believe that their brand of Christianity is the original form of Christianity.    Similar statements can be made for the thousands of other offshoots that fall under christianity.   In my view, government does not belong in that arena.

      Just the pendulum swinging... as our system was meant to do...

      Small swings when small changes are made...

      The last 4 years, the Biden years... well, those weren't exactly small changes made, infact, many were a culmination of changes that had been propagated to a large degree during the Obama years.

      So... I would be willing to agree with you on this, in a way...

      the swing back in the other direction may become severe...

      I prefer the focus of the energy and desire for change be directed at the government itself... that its agencies and bureaucratic halls be dismantled, done away with, wherever possible... so that the government is far more responsive to the Citizens... the voters... as it was meant to be.

      Right now Trump and Musk and Gabbard ARE THE WILL of the majority.

      The PEOPLE want their country back... they don't want war with Russia, they don't want an Open Border Society, they don't want 25% inflation so that the rich can get richer while millions more become poor.

          As to the rest, the last in particular... I don't care what the media says, or what the echo-bubbles of social media are trending... nor do I care how ugly it gets.

          Trump isn't running for election again... this team of Kennedy, Musk, Gabbard will not last beyond the coming 4 years...

          They don't have time to worry about what any media, social or legacy, thinks...

Federal employees being illegally offered buyouts or terminated is being challenged. My God, the left has found the courage to let loose the dogs of war. That is what you right wing types are pining for, because no one is going back without a fight.

        And you say that I should give Trump a chance? Right.....

        Biden was the will of the majority in 2021, that did not stop you from going after him , did it?

        I guarantee that you will break any clock that you attempt to turn back and there will not be moment's peace for the Trump Administration on account of it.

          Yes you do say otherwise, it doesn't change the fact that we are here...

          I admit, I continue to be proven wrong...

          I noted more than once, back in 2019, that I thought a true opportunity for change had been lost... Trump had exposed so much corruption... now was the chance in 2019 for 2020 to give us real change, real Democrat aka Progressive aka Liberal change...

          I thought that opportunity lost forever... when the DNC forced Biden on America, like they had forced Clinton on America in 2016... I knew Biden was nothing but a corrupt stooge for the worst elements that had taken roost in our government and controlled it far more than the voters did...

          I thought they would ensure that nothing would wrest control from them again until they had completed their Great Reset and Agenda 2030 goals, or destroyed the country in those pursuits.

          Never once thought it the slightest bit possible Trump would return... and surrounded by the people I have supported for going on a decade or more now... Tulsi Gabbard and Elon Musk...

          Its still somewhat of a shock really... that two people five years ago I could not envision working with Trump now being where they are now.

          Credence, what you see is a reflection of your worst fears... you, with the help of a media designed to manipulate your beliefs and perceptions of the world... believe Trump to be the sum of all evils.

          ... Of all men's miseries the bitterest is this: to know so much and to have control over nothing.

                  The Leftists are completely IGNORING any corruption brought to light and/or trying to twist it around IE:

                  "I think that the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops needs to actually look in the mirror a little bit and recognize that when they receive over $100 million to help resettle illegal immigrants, are they worried about humanitarian concerns? Or are they actually worried about their bottom line?"

                  From a TSMOG post above.

                  What they are pointing out, is the 100 million dollars given for them to bring in illegal migrants. *see Edit

                  Just because you cloak yourself with the Church, or a Non-Profit, does not mean you are not complicit in taking money from the government to do its dirty work... work the voters themselves would not agree to.

                  Its been pretty effective, insinuate yourself into any entity meant to do good, and use it as cover to do the things citizens might otherwise be outraged about.

                  No one in the government or media can be trusted, no pillar of society, no church or temple... open the books... follow the money... do what needs to be done.

                  This is what Musk, Gabbard, etc. MUST do to save the country from its imminent (in our lifetimes) collapse into chaos and tyranny.

                  The roots of corruption run deep... and no agency, organization or charity has been left untouched... if they take federal funds, however those funds weave their way through the books, they are complicit.

                  Our government is being exposed as one big Epstein Party... or P-Diddy... take your pick.

                  The enmity should not be focused on Musk for exposing this corruption, but on the politicians that are complicit in allowing it and protecting it as Americans suffered and America's wealth was wasted.

                  EDIT -

                  Just in case you were unaware, we have a border and policies and laws on how someone can migrate to America.

                  We pay people to defend that border and keep migrants from illegally entering.

                  Yet here we have exposed... just one small example of what is likely thousands of similar efforts... our government paying a church affiliated program one hundred million dollars to help migrants get here illegally.

                  WHY... WHY... would you not be outraged at that?

                  Either change the laws and policies... or shut down paying for a border patrol and ICE... but don't pay with our tax dollars/debt to keep migrants out... while also doling out billions to bring them in, illegally.

                  This is one of those issues that helps me recognize I am still somewhat sane... and just about everyone else is bat shit crazy.

                  Think of the billions wasted on funding all the Border forces, the court hearings, the return of migrants to their nations... while at the same time the government is giving billions to the UN, Faith and Non-Profit entities to facilitate helping them get here.

                  1. Sharlee01 profile image85
                    Sharlee01posted 4 weeks agoin reply to this

                    I completely agree with the core argument being made here. The Left consistently ignores corruption when it benefits them or aligns with their agenda, and when it gets exposed, they either twist the narrative or outright dismiss it. The example of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops receiving over $100 million to resettle illegal immigrants is just one of countless ways taxpayer money is being funneled into efforts that directly contradict what the American people actually voted for.

                    Just because an organization is cloaked in the image of the Church or a non-profit doesn’t mean they aren’t complicit in doing the government’s dirty work. This has been a long-standing strategy—using institutions that people trust as cover to push policies that the majority would never approve of if presented honestly. That’s exactly why institutions like the media, churches, and charities have become deeply compromised. If they take federal funds, no matter how those funds are laundered through different channels, they are part of the corruption.

                    Musk, Gabbard, and others trying to expose this corruption are not the problem. The outrage should be directed at the politicians who have allowed this to happen—who protect these backdoor dealings while Americans suffer and taxpayer dollars are wasted. The system is so deeply entrenched that no institution is safe from scrutiny.

                    The hypocrisy is infuriating. We fund border enforcement, ICE, and courts to process illegal crossings—yet at the same time, billions are spent on NGOs, faith-based groups, and international entities to help facilitate illegal immigration. It’s madness. If the government is going to fund efforts to bring migrants in, then why even pretend to enforce border security? Either change the laws or stop funding both sides of the issue.

                    This is one of those moments where I realize I’m still sane, while so many others are willfully blind to the insanity happening in front of them. The waste, the deception, the outright betrayal of American citizens—this is why corruption runs so deep and why it must be exposed at every level.

          And the media, legacy and otherwise, will work to convince the American people that it has swung extremely far...

          Much like they did during Trump's 1st term...

          Like when they went ballistic over Trump's Muslim Ban... but when you did some digging, you could find out that Trump only continued the Travel Ban that had been set in place by the Obama Administration... Trump made no significant changes.

          Those same tactics are being used now, hyper inflate every decision, every act, not just in the worst light possible, but also project into those acts the worst, most vile possibilities that can be imagined.

          I wonder tho... how effective these tactics will be, if Trump, Musk, Gabbard, etc. track down the government funding for these efforts...

          Like with USAID and Politico... it seems Politico can no longer pay its employees... track down and cut off all the federal funding for this nonsense, I wonder how much of it will survive?

            Trump Enrages Christian MAGA By Naming ‘Heretic’ Pastor to White House

            “Even though President Trump is enforcing laws that line up with our values, that doesn’t mean he has any clue what biblical Christianity is or why it matters,” Christian podcast host John Mason wrote on X. “Paula White is a known heretic and known false teacher who has no regard for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

            Scott Ross, a Texas-based leadership coach and self-described “Orthodox Christian,” called the move “an abomination.”

            “Paula White, head of Trump’s White House Faith Office, is no Christian leader,” he wrote. “She preaches the heresies of Word of Faith & Prosperity Gospel, both utterly opposed to authentic Christianity. Worse, she has lived a life of scandal, with multiple husbands, twisting the Gospel for profit.”

            “Arguably, this is the worst and most dangerous thing President Trump has done—putting a false teacher at the helm of faith outreach. Lord, have mercy on our country and this administration,” Ross added.

            Conservative commentator Jon Root, who typically posts in support of Trump, wrote, “This is the worst decision President Trump has made since taking office… Paula White is a heretic, who pedals the prosperity gospel. Plus, women should not be pastors according to The Bible.”

              That sounds like something that is going to piss off a huge block of that base, for sure.

              A position like that HAD to be filled with a very 'old school' and universally respected MAN of faith... if you are catering to that block...

              If you are looking to give them the finger and lose their support, then putting a promiscuous harlot who has had multiple husbands and is a controversial televangelist into that position is the perfect way to do it.

      Cred, there is no anti-Christian bias.   It is certain Christians who are biased against those who aren't.   Just saying.  I want to add what about Atheists.  Atheists have been harangued by Christians in America, also those who are non-traditionally spiritual.   It is the fundamental Christians who state this hyperbolic nonsense.   There never was an anti-Christian bias, still isn't.   There is STILL an underlying anti-Atheist bias in certain regions of America.   To say that there is anti-Christian bias is pure.........

    Pick and choose where to place one's loyalty - Trump or Musk?

    Does Anti-Christian Bias extend beyond the confines of the organizational government structure?

    Vance, Flynn, and Musk are going after the Catholics and Lutherans. Justified? Maybe the memo didn't go out in time in regard to the new office of Anti-Christian Bias. Or, maybe it only extends to Christian Right Nationalist?

    "Early Sunday, Elon Musk vowed that the so-called Department of Government Efficiency is cutting off aid to Lutheran organizations after conspiracy theorist Michael Flynn baselessly accused the groups of using religion “as a money laundering operation.”

    "And Vice President JD Vance, who is a Catholic, recently called out Catholic Church leaders, saying on CBS News’ “Face the Nation”:

    "I think that the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops needs to actually look in the mirror a little bit and recognize that when they receive over $100 million to help resettle illegal immigrants, are they worried about humanitarian concerns? Or are they actually worried about their bottom line?"

      Both Musk and Trump flood the zone with misinformation and lies.  They count on their followers blind faith.  They are similar in so many aspects.  That's why we are headed for a clash between the two.  Musk is doing a lot of the ugly, unpopular work for Trump.  As a result, public sentiment against Musk is rising.  But also, he is stealing a lot of trumps spotlight.  The time cover noticeably perturbed Trump.  We have a perfect storm brewing... When some of that negative public sentiment creeps over to Trump (looks like it already is). He will attempt to regain that spotlight and attention by blaming musk for any criticisms directed toward the administration and fire him.

      Vance is a real wildcard for me.    I completely believe that he would invoke the 25th Amendment on Trump in pursuit of power for himself... If Musk is ousted, he could certainly partner up with Vance and Republican representatives have shown us they will hook themselves to any train that keeps them in office.  This bunch is a rats nest...

    It is the policy of the United States, and the purpose of this order, to protect the religious freedoms of Americans and end the anti-Christian weaponization of government.  The Founders established a Nation in which people were free to practice their faith without fear of discrimination or retaliation by their government.

         For that reason, the United States Constitution enshrines the fundamental right to religious liberty in the First Amendment.  Federal laws like the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, as amended (42 U.S.C. 2000bb et seq.), further prohibit government interference with Americans’ rights to exercise their religion.  Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (42 U.S.C. 2000e et seq.), prohibits religious discrimination in employment while Federal hate-crime laws prohibit offenses committed due to religious animus.

         My Administration will not tolerate anti-Christian weaponization of government or unlawful conduct targeting Christians.  The law protects the freedom of Americans and groups of Americans to practice their faith in peace, and my Administration will enforce the law and protect these freedoms.  My Administration will ensure that any unlawful and improper conduct, policies, or practices that target Christians are identified, terminated, and rectified.

         Sec. 2.  Establishing a Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias.  (a)  There is hereby established within the Department of Justice the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias (Task Force).
         (b)  The Attorney General shall serve as Chair of the Task Force.
         (c)  In addition to the Chair, the Task Force shall consist of the following other members:
              (i)     the Secretary of State;
              (ii)    the Secretary of the Treasury;
              (iii)   the Secretary of Defense;
              (iv)    the Secretary of Labor;
              (v)     the Secretary of Health and Human Services;
              (vi)    the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development;
              (vii)   the Secretary of Education;
              (viii)  the Secretary of Veterans Affairs;
              (ix)    the Secretary of Homeland Security;
              (x)     the Director of the Office of Management and Budget;
              (xi)    Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations;
              (xii)   the Administrator of the Small Business Administration;
              (xiii)  the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation;
              (xiv)   the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy;
              (xv)    the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency;
              (xvi)   the Chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; and
              (xvii)  the heads of such other executive departments, agencies, and offices that the Chair may, from time to time, invite to participate.

         Sec. 3.  Task Force Functions.  (a)  The Task Force shall meet as required by the Chair and shall take appropriate action to:
              (i)    review the activities of all executive departments and agencies (agencies), including the Department of State, the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Labor, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, over the previous Administration and identify any unlawful anti-Christian policies, practices, or conduct by an agency contrary to the purpose and policy of this order;
              (ii)   recommend to the head of the relevant agency steps to revoke or terminate any violative policies, practices, or conduct identified under subsection (3)(a)(i) of this section and remedial actions to fulfill the purpose and policy of this order;
              (iii)  share information and develop strategies to protect the religious liberties of Americans and advance the purpose and policy of this order;
              (iv)   solicit information and ideas from a broad range of individuals and groups, including Americans affected by anti-Christian conduct, faith-based organizations, and State, local, and Tribal governments, in order to ensure that its work is informed by a broad spectrum of ideas and experiences;
              (v)    identify deficiencies in existing laws and enforcement and regulatory practices that have contributed to unlawful anti-Christian governmental or private conduct and recommend to the relevant agency head, or recommend to the President, through the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, as applicable, appropriate actions that agencies may take to remedy failures to fully enforce the law against acts of anti-Christian hostility, vandalism, and violence; and
              (vi)     recommend to the President, through the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, any additional Presidential or legislative action necessary to rectify past improper anti-Christian conduct, protect religious liberty, or otherwise fulfill the purpose and policy of this order.
         (b)  In order to advise the President regarding its work and assist the President in formulating future policy, the Task Force shall submit to the President, through the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy:
              (i)    a report within 120 days from the date of this order regarding the Task Force’s initial work;
              (ii)   a report within 1 year from the date of this order that summarizes the Task Force’s work; and
              (iii)  a final report upon the dissolution of the Task Force.

         Sec. 4.  Administration.  (a)  The heads of agencies shall, to the extent permitted by law, upon the request of the Chair, provide the Task Force with any information required by the Task Force for the purpose of carrying out its functions.
         (b)  The Department of Justice shall provide such funding and administrative and technical support as the Task Force may require, to the extent permitted by law and as authorized by existing appropriations.

         Sec. 5.  Termination.  The Task Force shall terminate 2 years from the date of this order unless extended by the President.

         Sec. 6.  General Provisions.  (a)  Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:
              (i)   the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or
              (ii)  the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.
         (b)  This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.
         (c)  This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

      Mike,     Wow, there is so much to unpack,  this was some incredible research! One word--- refreshing!

      I really appreciate how thorough and well-documented this is. The breakdown of how religious freedom is protected under the Constitution and federal law was spot on, and the examples of overreach from the previous administration were really eye-opening. The point about the FBI targeting traditional Catholics as potential domestic threats was especially alarming—it’s crazy how that kind of thing was even considered. And I completely agree that attacks on churches and religious organizations have been ignored for far too long. It’s good to see a commitment to actually addressing anti-Christian bias instead of sweeping it under the rug. Thanks for putting in the time to lay all this out so clearly!

      Finally, something I agree with here. Christians think they are under attack anytime they are disagreed with.

      I should say we - not they. Daughter of a Southern Baptist preacher. A believer in my own right since age 16. For most of my adulthood I've watched them and wondered WWJD?
