With all the questions regarding Trump getting assistance from Russia in getting elected, and the evidence that he broke campaign laws to do it, isn't it time to halt any initiatives he aims to put forth?  How are more people not questioning the motives behind his policies knowing his lawlessness and connections to a foreign country?

Please offer evidence of such allegations. Plus, just what policies has he set forward that would show any form of intent to hurt the country?

I sincerely believe that if, at this point, you don't see evidence of such allegations, you never will. With all due respect, asking people to recite all the evidence, which you can easily Google yourself, seems to be a cop out for a poor voting decision. I don't expect much productive conversation to arise from this, I just like to let my opinion be known now and then. I feel it helps keep the balance tilted toward reality.

I agree with Hard Sun, the evidence is overwhelming at this point if you know how to do an internet search.

As for policies, his environmental policies clearly hurt the country.  His tax policies ballooned the deficit to over a trillion dollars, raising spending while cutting revenue is about the dumbest thing Republicans consistently attempt and fail at.  Job growth is slower than it was under Obama.  Child separation policy was inhumane.  Immigration rhetoric has led to the higher levels of hate crimes.

Trump failed to sanction Russia over election interference until Congress voted with a veto-proof bill.  Trump refuses to acknowledge the Saudis kill Kashoogi just to preserve his business interests.  And his tariffs are forcing billions in government welfare being given to farmers.

Those are just a few bad policies to start with off the top of my head.

Although just the public evidence alone gathered to this point will strongly convict Donald in any court of law, and we are becoming more and more outraged with each passing day, we are waiting for the conclusion of the Mueller criminal investigation to discover the extent, depth and scope of Bozo Trump's madness before the lid flies off, a crescendo if you will:

You hate Trump, you have questions about Russian assistance.

Therefore everything he proposes is evil and wrong - anything he proposes is to be stopped before it can happen.

    Good thinking!

I don't have hate or questions.  With the evidence I've seen, there are no longer questions about his ties to Russia in my mind.  You are either blind to it or not intelligent enough to process it.  I actually feel sad for you either way.

And since I believe him to be tied to Russia, and with the amount of lying he does, I no longer trust him or any policy he puts forth.

I wish the left would remember that this type of behavior always comes back to kick you in the butt, in politics. Don't be surprised if the next Democratic president is embroiled in unending accusations and calls for obstruction.

Accusations are not convictions. If they were, every person who's ever been through a campaign would be in jail.

I understand this sentiment. However, does this mean we should be okay with any level of corruption, including conspiracies to interfere with our election process? It reads as though you're stating we should not care about the law because others may be held accountable as well.

At any rate, if any allegations against other political figures arise, and they have little merit, there may be "calls for obstruction," but the courts will not be lining up convictions, and special councils won't need years long investigations to get to the bottom of all the crimes. We will know they have little merit based upon the evidence. This has happened before and will happen again.

Such accusations flew like crazy around the Obama administration. --birth certificate, Benghazi, etc.-- But the vast majority had no merit. Thus, we didn't have so many individuals associated with Obama being convicted, put in prison, etc.

Trump's style exacerbates the problem. But, no. I think criminality should be held accountable (even though clear evidence shows some politicians do get away with a lot, do wantonly disregard the rule of law and do seek to influence those in a position to hold them accountable).

As I've stated, I'll hold judgment until facts are presented. Hating someone, being miffed about the outcome of an election or partisan politics is not enough for me, on this one. Trump's hawkish policies toward Russia leave room,in my mind, to question the intent of all of the screaming.

I saw Trump collude with the Russians on live TV.

Trump Invited the Russians to Hack Clinton. Were They Listening?

We clearly disagree here on Trump and the evidence. However, I'm glad to read that you do believe that we at least must try to uphold the rule of law no matter how inconvenient it may be to one political party.

As I stated. Trump's style exacerbates the problem. If that were collusion then everyone who tells me they wish I'd go to hell is colluding with the devil. The invitation for me to drop dead would be a murder attempt. And Maxine Waters should be in hot water for her hate speech on the street.

              Give me a break.

                From Yahoo today:

“During the campaign, Trump had encouraged Russia’s hacking and dumping — of which he was the chief beneficiary,” Isikoff and Corn write. “He had praised WikiLeaks releases, promoting them, and calling for more — even after he had received a secret U.S. government briefing stating that the cyber break-ins and dissemination of Democratic files were part of a Russian covert operation to undermine the election.

(He encouraged the continued release even AFTER learning they were coming from the Russians!!!!!!)

“He had spoken positively about Putin and suggested he was eager to undo sanctions and cut deals with the Kremlin — even as the Russia information warfare campaign was under way. Whether or not the investigations would ever turn up hard evidence of direct collusion, Trump’s actions — his adamant and consistent denial of any Russia role — had provided Putin cover. In that sense, he had aided and abetted Moscow’s attack on American democracy.”

Huh..but Russia did hack Hillary's emails. Did you go to hell? My guess is no. We know what Russia did and we know Trump asked them to do it and more. I'm not seeing the connection. It's OK to make mistakes by voting for a criminal traitor moron. We all make mistakes.

So, you admit your vote for Hillary equated to support for a criminal traitor.

You are right. We all make mistakes. Keeping that greedy, conniving woman out of office wasn't one of mine.
