I watched the State of the Union and I agreed with some of the proposals that Obama put forward. I do doubt his ability to achieve them but all in all I watched the man that is the President of the United States give a speech. That is what I watched and this morning I woke up to see this.
I am shocked at this and the thought never crossed my mind.
What about you did any of you think like Chris Matthews last night?
not at all. it doesn't even cross my mind at all. I guess it's hard for me to comprehend that people think that way, but obviously they do.
LOL. What a douche. It cracks me up how people sometimes have no idea what they look/sound like to the rest of the world. Be interesting to see how he wriggles out of that.
I'm not trying to take up for the way he put this, but I don't think he meant it as bad as it sounded. I think he just meant that the fact that Obama is black has become an irrelevant issue. That people (particularly himself) have finally started to let it go and accept he is our leader.
So you think that people who didn't vote for him didn't vote for him because he's black? If that's how you look at it you are a racist. Most people who didn't vote for him didn't believe him.
Uh no. That's not what I think. Thank you. Not everyone that didn't vote for him accepted him as a leader.
I appreciate you jumping to that conclusion and throwing racist in there.
His race wasn't the reason I didn't support him! The only people bringing up race EVER are the supposed enlightened ones.
But as you can see, the supposed enlightened ones are really the racists.
There is no situation in which what Matthews said could really be explained away. What did Matthews think, that Condoleeza Rice was black all the time because he didn't agree with her?
I'm getting tired of the "he is so articulate" crap, has no one ever heard Allan Keyes speak or Colin Powell. Why are they not articulate? Obama is a stage prop for the loony left!
Ok, why am I racist?? All I'm saying is maybe the guy really didn't mean to come off like a jack off. Every time someome misspeaks, it's always taken to the extreme. I'm not debating the issue of race, I'm debating the issue of interpretation.
I'm sure you've never said anything that you meant in a good or "not bad" way and someone twisted it to make you look like the a-hole?
Kind of like what you're doing to me right now.
Matthews doesn't need help to look like an A-hole!
Okay Wayne, you're not a racist. I think it sucks to be called something you're not. Like you did by implying people who didn't vote for him didn't because they couldn't forget he was black.
I didn't mean to imply that everyone that voted for him was racist.
What I was trying to say was that maybe people that didn't vote for him and don't want him in office are finally accepting he is our leader whether they want him there or not.
Is that clearer?
Matthews has always been ok with the Bamster, don't you remember the funny feeling he gets up his leg when Obama speaks?
Actually I don't. I never watch his show. I'm basing all this by the snippet at the beginning which is all any other media outlets will show whenever he is attacked for his comments later.
just saying hello Tex...this is too domestic for me we have our own problems
I guess I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Oh well.
I'm voting for jack off personally.
Obama the faint master!

I'm surprised that Matthews used a racial slur on his show. He said that those who doubt Obama is a US citizen are "crackers." That's the white equivalent of the n-word.I'm not a birther - I believe BO was born in Hawaii. But why did Chris have to resort to such language?

Are white Americans turning against Barack Obama because of the color of his skin or because of his policies? After lawmaker from South Carolina screamed out "you lie" as Obama delivered a nationally-televised address, former president Carter, suggested its the history of racism that...

As Joe would say, "Look, Here's the deal."A Bachelor contestant attended a ladies Old South Antebellum Party put on by her college sorority. She didn't do or say anything overtly racist, but she was slammed as being racist simply for attending. A young, pretty college girl wanting to...

At this point, who are you voting for? Romney or Obama?I realize it's a pretty redundant question, but I'm wondering what some of my followers(and hopefully new followers) actually think. Give me some legitimate reasons why you chose who you chose, and please try to refrain from...

In a conversation about racism in America today, a young relative, made this statement'"It is worse than it was six years ago!"It took me a moment to catch his drift. He is a young, (many times naive), anti-Obama conservative and I took his comment to mean it is worse since Pres....
